Looks good and im sure the water will be very healthy but it takes a lot of swim space for the fish... I think the fishes should be prioritised in any tank.

Absolutely love this. I've just set up a shallow riverbed tub but now I'm tempted to have a clump of grasses in the corner!

I’m trying to make two 10 gal tanks like this. They are already stablished and with fish and some plants. So really planning it is a must to not harm the fish and plants . Thanks for sharing your information

How many water changes would u recommend for a 10 gallon tank?

  • @GroundedGame

the secrects? 70% weekly w/c and algae eaters. A routine with no changes.

This is the best pond aquarium video on UA-cam. I’m in the process of doing a pond scape with a UNS 60s, and it’s very hard to find any inspiration. Great video!

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and guess that the reason more people don’t do this is the cost. I mean....just the light alone is over $400. I’m guessing many people don’t have that much disposable income to begin a new hobby they’re not even sure they’ll excel in.

I regret giving away all of my Japanese rice fish. I just started when I got them and only had one tank which got over populated very quickly.

Could you please guide me on the necessary water parameters to get red plants red..... The tests that need to be taken... And how to dose fertilizer... My tank is a 3ft in L, 2ft in H, 1.5ft in B... using chihiros A901+ light for 6 hrs... CO2 at 3bps starting 2hr before light gets on and 1hr before light gets off.... I use tropica Specialised Nutrition and dosing 2ml a day.. instead of doing a weekly once dosing... I do 50% water change a week... Using RO water and use salts to remineralize it ... despite this.. my rotala red is only having a pale red... Only on the underside of the leaf.. Should I stop using tropica and go for macros and micros ferts... Ur guidance will be really helpful

Thank you for the video! Found your channel via article through Buceplant.com. I have been battling green fuzz algae and currently use the EI dosing method. Excess (EI) nutrients has not worked for me as I continually battle algae even though CO is optimal and steady. Hope you could answer a couple questions that may provide further insight on how your tanks are so pristine. Water parameters- Gh/Kh Nitrate NPK levels Mg/Ca What substrate do you prefer? I am using AS by ADA and think this may contribute to the abundance of nutrients?? How much and what fertilizer? Thank you for your time!

Finally :D Ofc i got a Question. Have you ever encountered a lack of nutrition on the emersed plants because the Nutrients in the Soil starts to fall apart after 6-7 Months? Its like that in underwarter tanks. I was wondering if this problem occurse in a pondstyle-tank aswell and how you'd go ahead to solve the nutrient problem (if there's one). Tropica Nutrition Capsules? Osmocote Plus? Thanks and keep it up. Scientific plant-names were rly helpful :D Cheers! Chris
