The UK Centre for Carnival Arts is the only dedicated organisation and centre of its kind, promoting excellence within the field of carnival arts. Our mission is to:
*Champion high quality art that is ambitious, challenging and innovative
*Connect, inspire and strengthen the Carnival Arts sector across the UK
*Unite, support, develop and sustain the cultural and artistic sector within Luton

UKCCA Environmental Ambition
The UK centre for carnival arts is committed to sustainable development. With our aim to reduce our carbon footprint by 50% by 2026, we are also committed to the pledge to ensure Luton is a carbon neutral town by 2040.
In 2023 with the support of the Greener Future Fund awarded through the Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation. We embarked on our journey in reducing Luton Carnival’s CO2 emissions and upskilling local artists and students in sustainable practices.

We were honoured to be invited guests at the New Yam Festival 2023, hosted by the #IgboCommunityLuton. Carnivals in the Caribbean, South America and several in America and the UK, have roots from the ancient traditions of African cultures. Amazon Pride Parade 2023 - Amazon Fulfilment Centre Dunstable - UK Centre for Carnival Arts (UKCCA)

UK Centre for Carnival Arts (UKCCA) received a £1,000 donation from the team at the Amazon fulfilment centre in Dunstable. Alongside the donation, UKCCA was invited to the Amazon fulfilment centre in Dunstable to take part in the Amazon team’s on-site Pride parade. We also assisted in the design of the Amazon team’s costumes and celebrated the day with music and treats.
