@@Garylevell It was recorded with Smule. Then I captured the audio using a program in my PC. Made the video using Video Editor with stills I created in Photoshop. It was a process.

Cool! It's wort a shot. I still get my Mischief Box every couple of weeks and I have really enjoyed this service and the produce I have received. Considering the price of organic produce at the grocery store, this is a much better deal! Peace.

So far, so good. I wash my vegetables by placing them in my salad spinner with water and then I sprinkle baking soda over them and let them sit for a bit. Then I spin em, then rinse them and spin them again. If there is an E-Coli scare, Misfits will notify you of where they got their vegetables so as to reassure you. I have eaten all of the kale they have sent to me and it was good. I made Kale Cole Slaw with the red Kale an head of cabbage they sent me last month and it was the best way to eat kale (for me) so far! Delicious!

Also, these are grown organically...so no pesticides.

How lovely Catherine! Well, I hope you won't be disappointed. I will be preparing another huge pot of vegetable soup tomorrow thanks to Misfits Market. I have had a wonderful Winter with all of these terrific organic vegetables from misfits!

Hi Gloria! Thanks for the compliment. I am growing this hair to donate it. It's getting cut off in April and will hopefully be made into a nice wig for a little girl who has lost her hair from chemotherapy. I was raised by fried green tomato eaters, but I don't much enjoy them. Those little tomatoes all turned a lovely bright red within a week and I used them in my quinoa vegetable soup. @@perceptionreality3485 I read many comments at the Misfits Market group page of customers that were worried about their romaine shipments as well. But Misfits assured them that they were not from the companies that had the food poisoning scare. Hold up! I thought the devils' lettuce was the "good green" that you smoke....? LOL!

Richard Winfrey Devils lettuce is the smokeable grass 😂 but it's never killed anybody so I think romaine deserves the title 😂😂

How was your first experience?

This shipment came with each of the items packed in the green compostable bags. And I am not and have never been affiliated with Misfits Market. I am a customer and nothing more. I simply did not want to waste time with the bags covering the produce, but to show all that I received in this shipment. I started making these videos because there were no videos reviewing Misfits Market. I see now that there are many video reviews for Misfits Market and none of them appear to be anything but genuine first hand accounts of each person's experience with their Misfits boxes, just like all three of my videos.

Oh and TheKathleen100 if you notice at 4:53 on my countertop you will see all of the green compostable bags all bunched up. No plastic. In fact someone mentioned the plastic bags on my first video and even though those plastic bags CAN be recycled at your grocery store with the plastic grocery bags that they accept, they were in fact NOT plastic bags that my curbside recycling pick up would allow.

There are hits and misses and I have found that I have experienced the reverse problem that you are experiencing, I have more produce than I can keep up with and I am going out of my way to preserve what I get. Just yesterday I chopped up and froze 1 and 3/4's of the red peppers and all of the celery I received in my last Mischief box. I got some very small rutabagas in my last shipment also and i simply added them to a cream of potato soup I made and they fit right in. The only vegetables I have received that were not in good shape were several beets that came with my 2nd shipment and they were mushy only days after I received them. If I were you, I would send them an email and let them know what you liked and didn't like about the shipment you received and they may take a few days to get back to you (but I think they are growing rapidly and are trying to keep up with sudden demand) and resolve any of the issues you might have. I have had to throw a few things out but only because I put off cooking them due to a lack of time and know-how. I am still a subscriber and I am 80% happy with all that I have received thus far. I hope your next shipment is better! Peace.

@@RichardWinfrey I did send an email, and I agree that they are growing so rapidly that some issues are taking place. Second box had another issue. I honestly feel like I have to cook everything in one day or freeze it so things won't go bad. I kind of question where they are getting the produce from at this point.

@@dgoil I guess I am having better luck. So far only had to throw out a few items. At this time I have no produce on hand at all because Misfit Markets just up and decided to cancel my box which they charged me for on Christmas Eve. I wrote to them and told them that applying a bit of logic would have allowed them to ship my package to me and work around the Holidays. It takes one day for a shipment to get to me from Philadelphia. If they had shipped my box to me Wednesday, I would have gotten it today...I told them they need to get it together.

Donna T what area do you live in? Different shipping areas would have different suppliers. I’m in CT and thinking of ordering.

I live alone, so I have found that the smaller "Mischief Box" is exactly enough for me.

Richard Winfrey I got my first box yesterday and the produce was perfect. It looked like about the same amount as yours. It was just right for splitting with my mother in law. She took one Apple, I took two, etc. Unfortunately, it was supposed to be supposed to be the larger box, since I am married with four kids! I sent them a note asking and figure they'll get back to be today. Their customer service seems to reply fairly quickly. You should consider getting a redirect for your affiliate code. For example, mine is: food.m*rt.com rather than the long referral link they give. Not only is it a pain in the a$$ to type, it's super easy to remember and write down while you're out and about telling people about the service.

Last, I wanted to suggest tying back your hair. It's gorgeous and flattering but it keeps falling in your face and you have to flick it back over and over. It's rather distracting.

@@sandramort37 LOL! Funny you should say that. I never wear my hair down unless I am trying to look good. I am growing my hair solely for the purpose of donating it. I have grown it now for three years and I will be cutting it all off in April and sending it away. I never have any comments about my hair from men, it is always from women. I flip it around because it really is a pain in the ass and it is irritating. I have seen too many people comment that vegans have thin hair and they look unhealthy, so this is my "in your face" to anyone taking part in that commentary.

So Sandra, they sent you the smaller box? The $23 10-12 lb box? Did you get charged for the smaller box too (I hope)? I love the fact that you can easily email them and they will respond in about a day and they will quickly correct the matter. Hope t works out!

i add ice to my blender to help the kale breakdown in my smoothie. kale apple banana and orange juice, add ice, blend.

Actually, they were recyclable plastics. If you check out my second video "Misfits Market Round 2" you'll see that they stepped it up even more with my 2nd shipment and all of the vegetables were in green compostable (?) bags. They note that you should put all of your vegetable clippings, peels, etc. in the bags and throw them in your compost bin. I was really pleased! The entire package was recyclable! You really should try them out. One shipment will do it! These are organic vegetables and the price is excellent considering. This is great for people that are concerned about reducing food waste and those that insist on organic vegetables. I know! Right?! Organic vegetables are expensive and plus I literally HATE going to the grocery store to shop! This comes to ME and they send such a beautiful variety.

I borrowed this from another page " avocados technically shouldn't be designated vegan because of a system called "migratory beekeeping." Commercial farms in states like California have to shuttle bees between farms in the backs of trucks because there are not enough native bees in the region to pollinate the plants on which they grow. Why should this concern vegans? Many people who follow a vegan diet tend to stay away from honey, over concerns that bees are exploited in order to harvest it. So if the bees are being held in the backs of hot, dark trucks for long periods of time, no doubt tousled and mishandled along the way, vegans would have good reason to believe that the bees are being mistreated, and may want to be more conscious of where they buy their avocados from." But frankly I feel that as vegans we simply need to push suppliers who are taking part in this bee stress to cut it out or we cut them out. It applies Butternut squash, almonds and kiwi too.

Thank you KTRXS. Some of my friends thought that I was actually tipsy when I made this video, but no....that glass of wine was still half full when I finished the video and sat down to edit it. I am like this all the time it's just that some people don't always get to see the real me. I'm a bit goofy.

I made a soup with it last weekend and it was absolutely delicious! It was "Quinoa Vegetable Soup" and it was not only delicious, it was freakin' beautiful! I am going to try it in a Vegan Minestrone soup recipe I have later today.

I asked Misfits Market to lighten up on the beets and they said they made a note of it. Actually the beet, carrot, kale, apple smoothie wasn't bad. I made a whole blender full and portioned them out in these blender mugs I have and every morning last week I got up in the morning and added a few frozen strawberries and blackberries to one, blended it and it was pretty good. I drank it down fast though. I have a recipe from my "Color Me Vegan" cookbook that I am going to try, but I need to run to the market and get one orange. The recipe is called "Harvard Beets" and it looks pretty promising.

Avocado NOT VEGAN?!?!? That's bullshit indeed.

@@sandramort37, they are transporting bees to the growing fields for not only avocados but other vegetables too. Some vegans are in an uproar because it is exploitation and vegans are totally against it. I am on the fence. Still educating myself about it. If they truly are exploiting bees then they need to get their shit together, because I'm not feelin' it!

The apples are bruised but not at all mushy feeling, so I am going to cut them into little chunks and make some vegan caramel dip and enjoy them with warm caramel dip and crushed peanuts. It is just about the best fondue I can think of!
