    I think the bronco badge on the side is incorrect and should be the bronco sport badge because the bronco sport had that metal trim around it as where the ordinary bronco didn’t.

    That is one beautiful car! My grandfather had a 1957 in white but it wasn’t the “a” since it didn’t have the wide grill in the front. He had two TR6s a 1974 and a 1969. Now he owns a 1968 TR5 PI which is a TR4-A body but with a Lucas mechanically fuel injected 2.5 liter straight six. It has over 150 horsepower and it’s very fast too.

    We hot air ballooned with this truck for 40 years; drove that crewcab longbed all around the southwest from abq to Phoenix, Colorado Springs, gallup, durango just to name a few rallies every year. Had a 460 and a c6. What a beast

    1987 was the only year for those 8th gen Ford F-series pickups with the stepside box. In 1988 the stepside boxes became obsolete & were brought back in 1992 which was the first year for the 9th gen F-series pickups.

    Damn it, we support the criminal in Moscow. Putin can only be defeated if we implement an immediate energy-saving lockdown. No more private trips. Heating only at night and only one room with light and electricity, you can simply set that at the fuse box....Cities could, for example, switch off every second street light and companies could switch off their neon signs. We can initially limit driving to pure business trips and hospital trips, etc...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop driving now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Gotta love the 3 on the tree! I have one in mine, and love it. Currently using a Hurst floor shifter kit with the 3 speed top loader while I try to fix the column shift though. Its wild yet really nice to be done shifting by like 30mph.

    The best Ferrari sports car is the all analog (baby Testarossa) Ferrari 348. The 348 is the biggest bang for the buck in Ferraris. As the predecessor to the 355, the 348 has the Formula 1 exhaust note without the costly valve and active suspension issues the 355 has. Less is more in analog sports cars. Older is easier as most can work on a 348. Its now or never for 348 buyers.

    my first car (bought used in 1970) was a '61 MGA with wire wheels and i loved those wheels! now at 70 i'm starting to think that i might prefer the simple "steelies" on these cars.

  • @mcgloinm1
    @mcgloinm1 2 роки тому

    I always loved the look of the MGA but was a bigger fan of the MG TCs and MG TDs. My first car though was a 1964 Triumph Spitfire and the last sports car was a 2000 Honda S2000. Neither was fast to 0 to 60 but I didn't care. USA drivers seem to be more interested in quick acceleration, but I just loved the way they handled cornering.

      Years ago, I had a VW Scirocco, then later, a Miata. Neither fast off the line, but both handled like go karts with gears. Both hoots to drive. Regret selling both.

    I recently bought a 77 with an implant 360. Growing up my neighbor inherited it from his dad in the 80s, his 2 daughters drove it to school then college, then in the Early 2000s he sold it to a man and just recently I moved and right down the road was the man that bought the truck. He passed away ( cancer ) and the truck sat for 3 yrs. His wife almost didn't sell it to me but I told her my story of how I grew up hearing them girls raw hide it up the road trying to find the next gear (3 on the tree) and make it to town in one piece and she finally let me get it for a reasonable $3000. Right now it's black it was a rust and primer color when I got it I did a quick sand/paint job but planning on going to the original color this spring. My goal is to fix it up as nice as I can and show the lady I got it from first then the neighbor that originally had it. I think he'll like to see it restored.

      That seems to have been a common swap, I'm seeing it come up a lot. Makes sense because who wants a 351m/400? I bought a 79 short bed f150 4x4 two years ago that had a 360 swapped in it, out of a 2wd truck or car cause it had a dented up front sump oil pan from the front drive shaft hitting it. It's now a 390.
