Viltrox 56 1.4 vs Sigma 56 1.4 (sony e-mount)
Переглядів 12 тис.4 роки тому
Both Lenses are pretty good and will do a good job in photography. The Viltrox actually seemed to grab focus quicker than the sigma outdoors but the viltrox suffered from heavy focus breathing and loud focus motor noise when indoors. Let me know which Lens you think is better below. Instagram : @constantview

If the tracking is blocked by an object or tree and then it appears again, does the tracking still work?
@@boychannel2191 it’s inconsistent. Sometime it would still track and other times it just turned off tracking
Great video, nice to shed light on something other than DJI. Does the gimbal connect to the phone via an app or directly through BT? if app, how's the app?
App is OK. Some of the menu options are bugged. Changing rotation speed sometimes resets and you have to do it again. Same with motor response setting. It wants to keep reseting to medium.
One thing I hate about viltrox 56mm 1.4 is, if you attach a filter you cant attach the hood, and if you attach hood you can't attach filter.
Hey, what camera did you use for this video?
I don’t really remember for sure but more than likely it was a Sony a6600
@@constantview Thank you.
Which better 1.sony 50mm 1.8 2.viltrox 56mm 1.4
HELP MEEE DECIDE plssss ZVE10 w/ sigma 56mm 1.4 or Canon R50 rf 50mm 1.8
Go for zv 56mm
really weird, cause vitrox on m50 is slower than sigma xD at focus
sigma focus breathing sucks not good video
Sigma have better optics for sure...only thing what I don't like on Viltrox is strong CA and purple fringing otherwise both lenses is very good . On some pictures Viltrox have a little smoother bokeh. Did you maybe test Sigma 16mm 1.4 vs Viltrox 23mm 1.4. ?
Viltrox has way to much chromatic aberration.
excellent comparison thank you
Is viltrox for fullframe?
No its for APSC
If I were on Sony, I would never look at Viltrox. Sigma is obviously a better lens company. But I'm on Fuji so this VDO sold me on a Viltrox cause it is the only available third party lens for Fuji. and it is very good.
Viltrox when you walk to camera. background tree look weird. Sigma look very smooth. Sigma focus slow.
Hey man, great video. For the talking head takes at the end, how far away were you from the camera?
Sigma has focus breathing while focus pulling

I make the 40 subs😇
Great video
Your video caught my attention. I recently bought a Viltrox 23mm f1.4 for my Sony APS-C cameras. I really like the lens, the color quality, build quality and all has been really good for video shooting. The only thing I didn't like on the Viltrox is how the Automatic aputure worked. Other than that it is pretty good. AF has been reliable ... I think at it's price it is a valid competitor to Sigma and the choice you make is a matter mostly of personal taste, not anything to do with the build or image quality. Cheers ...very good show!
For video they perform same... no difference. If we're talking about photo, well... that is another story, where Sigma is much better.
I have the sigma and definitely agree that sigma is better. Great video bro.
Thank you !
Kinda like a circular moire on the screen when shooting at wide angle?
No I havent seen that
Do you get the n-gon thing on sigma when shooting wide?
Im not sure what that is
but the viltrox was MUCH faster focusing on your face after you reappeared in the frame. the Sigma took ages til it focused on you again.
That may have been my fault. I used two seperate a6600 and one was set to smoother focus transitions while the other was set to snappier focusing. The focus issues on the Viltox being the focus breathing in low light and the loud noise when focusing are the main issues that would make me suggest the sigma over viltrox. But if your doing mainly photography and not much video either lens is a good option.
nice review
so i want to shooting video better to choese sigma ? right
Definitely, They are pretty similar for photography. but for videography your camera will pick up all the focusing noise from the viltrox the sigma is silent so better for video.
@@constantview thk u
there's new firmware update for the Viltrox, can you make another video after the update ? thank you ... Subed
Thank you, that what I was looking for
Thanks for Watching!
good video, on another review I saw sigma wins in sharpness, did you notice that?
I saw that in Arthur R video as well. I didn't notice it as much. They both seemed very sharp.
You gotta be pixel peeping to see. In real world use its not gonna be noticeable.
Good review....I just pulled the trigger on a Sigma 56....PEACE!
Your gonna love it ! ✌🏽
solid video I need to try the viltrox on my sony since i use it mostly to record bts video for my photoshoots on my channel it may be a great addition.
Yea it’s a pretty good lens especially at that price. Thanks for watching
The colors on the Viltrox look a little warmer
Thanks
Thanks! So what of these would you personally prefer? I have a Canon M50 MkII, but I think the comparison still makes sense
Sigma has better focusing and may be a bit sharper but in real world use they are both really good. I personally prefer the sigma 56 tho.
This is the video I have been waiting for. Thanks so much.
Thanks for watching
Thanks for comparing these bro
Thanks for watching!
