I started this channel because as a kid growing up I always remembered my dad carrying one of them big ole camcorders everywhere we went. Whether to the amusement park, "Rodger William Park".... or just about everywhere, my dad was making memories. Now I have a family of my own. My dad passed away back in 2013 and I wished that I had more clips of him with my boys. This channel is simply to record all of the memories for my family so that when my time comes, I'll leave a little something behind.
Come along as we travel to camp, hike, and explore the outdoors. Every so often I’ll go fishing with friends and family but mainly solo fishing. I enjoy the silence and solitude as it allows me to connect with my Father. I get the time to pray and talk to Jesus, and just simply work on myself (mentally and spiritually).

Fishing My First Kayak Bass Tournament On Lake Norman
Had many chances but could not capitalize. Overall it was a good learning experience and even better, meeting some pretty cool people. July 13, 2024.
I finished 54th out of 130 anglers with just a 11 inch fish so that tells you guys how tough it was that day. I do wonder where I stand if I had landed them fish earlier in the morning. I may have exaggerated top ten but at one point I was actually in the 20’s with just one fish, halfway through the tournament, the rankings were closed so I couldn’t see where I was anymore.

It was a good time, well spent. I don’t keep fish. Only times I do is if I accidentally gut hook a bass and kill it. Sometimes I’ll keep catfish if I catch them on accident and I bring them to a friend.

It is so hard to slow down. I want to cast and fish the whole lake in 5 minutes cause I am excited to be out fishing. I fish in a kayak. The kayak has constant motion, I so let the kayak move the bait most of the time. Good tip on using your finger, I will try that
