Odds & Eds
Приєднався 14 тра 2010
Just one odd guy named Ed sharing his opinions on cars, toys, LEGO, wristwatches, food, travel, weird news stories, and more. 'Cause there's a lot of odd stuff in the world, and someone has to experience it, right?
I build the Lego 40813 Lucky Cat for Lunar New Year!
To celebrate Lunar New Year I'm building LEGO 40813, the Lucky Cat. Modeled after the "maneki neko" figurines of Japan but most closely associated with Chinese restaurants in the west, the LEGO Lucky Cat even has a Technic pendulum mechanism inside to make the cat waves its paw and beckons customers into the shop. (This is my first LEGO build for UA-cam, nobody told me how long making LEGO videos would take! So many edits!) #lego #timelapse #speedbuild #legospeedbuild #luckycat #manekineko #lunarnewyear #springfestival #chinesenewyear #kungheifatchoi

Smaller cars is better than walking in the rain
Better than walking 30 miles
I guess I don't understand communism like I thought I did.
But here the fuel is the equivalent of 8 dollars a gallon..
That's what you get when you have to design your cars for 2000 year old streets that were meant to be primarily used by horses, donkeys, and the occassional carriage.
“whatever the crap” added to my vocabulary
Bro literally has the🚙
Wait until you see qn Opel rocks or an aixam....
In literally every country they have this.
definitely haven’t seen this in the US
@sohaibakhtar4394 that's because people in the US generally have caveman brains and think that bigger means more powerful.
Havent seen this in poland
Is this a new season of Torchwood? You could put a saddle on that thing. It’s huge.
How about the Peel P50.
Not the G-Wiz 😭✋
Scots relied heavily on their wool, which I could suggest you doing as well. A good, long, wool coat, with leather boots, and thick leggings, is what got me through. I’ve never minded the wind though. I lived there for a bit, and it was a wonderful place to be. Lived in Edinburgh and then later on in Inverclyde, on the West coast. It was the windiest place I’ve ever been. Truly almost blown away, on a few occasions. Kind of terrifying tbh. Best enjoyed inside haha. Absolutely wonderful place to live though. I lived at the top of the hill, where the wind was fierce, overlooking the water down below. I’ll never forget it. When I lived in Edinburgh, I lived in a wonderful neighborhood, as well. Very different, the two places, of course. Loved the bustle of the shopping area. The old buildings. It just has such charm. I miss Scotland, on occasion. I live in Sweden now. Which I absolutely love. But for different reasons. Enjoy your time in Scotland! 🏴 It’s a place unlike any others. 🦄 Try and find a unicorn, or two, to ride, if you can. ^_^ haha
Hope everyone is safe during the current storm.
Scotch wind.
Dope
Wait til he sees a Robin Reliant. 😂
So small, you ain't got room for the 4th wheel. 😅
Yesterday it was extremely blowy here in Fife.
Secret of coping with Scottish weather. Invest in a good waterproof and take it with you where ever you go.
not the biwhat about the big car behind the small one
The last crap is 0.0000000000001% of all cars 😂 Probably 5 in every country

Sorry mate! It's German 😢
😂😂😂
Calm down brah, it's not HAMBURGer.
Ah come on! He has come across the best spice range in the world! So.... I'll pretend it's British 😉
Actually that company was founded in Canada (by a German immigrant)
There isn't 25 million Scots in America, there may be 25 million people with Scottish ancestors but that doesn't make them Scottish. And is it really haggis if the main ingredient is changed?
If your parents are Scottish but you were born in Hong Kong, are you Scottish? Because I know a lot of people in that boat. How far back do we stop counting ancestry? As for "is it haggis if it doesn't have lung", sounds like this is something for Hollyrood to decide
@oddsandeds but it's not people who's parents are Scottish, it's people who's great/great great grandfather/mother is from Scotland or have very distant relative who is Scottish. Would you say Donald trump is Scottish? His mother is.
Let's pick a different example because the Scots saying Trump doesn't count as Scottish is because of their broad dislike for that particular man, and not A mathematical function of how far back his ancestry goes
@@oddsandeds it's not, trump is American, because if he was not he couldn't become president. He is of Scottish descent but not Scottish
@@RyanThomson-g2t is a chinese-american Chinese? Depends on if we'ree talking nationality, ethnicity, or culture? Clearly macsween's thinks the 25 million Scottish Americans are Scottish enough that they'll buy haggis once it's finally available in the USA
There are not 25 million Scottish people in the US. There are a bunch of wazzarks who watched braveheart & thought it was a documentary. And now annoy Scottish people... A lot.
There are 25 million people living in the United States who are either Scottish born or of direct Scottish descent. There was mass emigration to the USA after the Jacobite uprising, and now over 8% of the US population has Scottish ancestry.
@@oddsandeds the Jacobite uprising was nearly 300 years ago, any direct descendants of the people who left in this time are long gone
Direct descendant means you can directly trace it back to Scotland, It's not like the Scots went to Brazil, spent a century becoming all Brazilian, and THEN they went to North America I know sooooo many Americans of Scottish descent who are very proud of whichever tartan they can lay claim to, and all of them get married in kilts.
@@oddsandeds so all Brazilians are Portuguese? And there is no such thing as an American? Being of a descent doesn't make you that nationality or culture. It's great Americans love and appreciate our culture, but they haven't lived here or grew up here to be it. I know many Scots that don't like to wear tartan, does that make them not Scottish?
@@oddsandedsbut you said “25 million Scottish people in the USA”. Which is incorrect.
Its back already quit the bullshit
Glasgow being cold and wet?!
The small one is our favourite. It does everything we need and solar rechargeable! Tip. Put bit of coloured electrical tape on it, as we kept losing it in shadows
I love the weird and quirky of the world. I could send you on a endless trek of weird places in Scotland.
I was really surprised when they took it down before midnight est yesterday.
Looks like they did it on Chinese time, not US time
It's a dark day here in the US. TikTok really brought so many people together.
We'll be let back in tomorrow. Neither Biden nor Trump said they were gonna enforce the ban, and there was no mechanism requiring this shutdown or lockout. Going dark was purely a flex by Bytedance to put pressure on politicians
Fantastic!
What do you mean by dystopian M8 it is just normal
Yeah and there are settings in the old remote and thats is a REAL SMART TV THANK THANK YOU
I know this from "made of honor"

I ended up with one of these when I visited Scotland last summer, and I can absolutely agree with everything you’ve said. It’s a tremendously smooth ride, excellent power, and has the turn radius of a whale in a broken shopping cart. There were a couple of small roundabouts where I had to pull a three point turn (I’m looking at you, A918 in St. Andrews). The part that was most irritating was the steering wheel and driver’s seat. I have short arms, short legs, and a long torso, and was able to find a very comfortable driving position, but that seat position made it almost impossible to get out of the car. I had that car for two weeks and still couldn’t figure out a non-awkward way to get out without fully adjusting the seat each time.
I found the charging infrastructure here to be lacking
Everywhere in the UK has a cold, wet, bleak dystopian feel to it
Tbh comparing a polestart to a tesla is comparing a piece of gold to a painted brick as one is manufactured by a honest company one is manufactured by a oligarcic narcisist who should be joining rossi
But tell us how you REALLY feel
