In the section on Spock "getting the feels", I can't believe you left out the scene where he breaks into a huge smile and yells "JIM!!!" when he discovers Kurk is still alive, and that he hadn't killed him in battle as he thought.

Your comments about "The Enterprise Incident" are BS. The Romulans did not attack the Enterprise initially, just surrounded her. Also, Only Kirk put on the ears, by McCoy threatened to leave them on if he did not get to sickbay to have his ears "bobbed".

LOL probably 2/3 of my fan films are based on actual events. "Remember Roswell", "Monoliths", "Mutilations" (about livestock mutilations), "Silent Triangles" (about UFO's). Need I go on? Mine are not political, but rather paranormal. I have 54 Star Trek fan films and counting, all done with Second Life, and one brief on-camera appearance by me.

I guess I'm alone in this, but I always felt the Wrath of Kahn uniforms looked too much like a high school band. All they needed was the tall, white Q tip hats and a fight song.

4:38 "As for Spock, there was the time he accidentally got high off an alien plant and had an emotional hookup with one of the NATIVES." This is actually incorrect, because the woman referred to was not a native. Native means born to that planet. Those people in the episode were colonists from Earth. It was the episode "This Side of Paradise". What the narrator means here is that the people had been on the planet for a time before the Enterprise showed up. They had been settling on the planet to colonise it. Then the Enterprise showed up. So, having been on the planet for a while longer than the crew who just beamed down, doesn't exactly make them NATIVES.

2:52 "...and Kirk would probably never discuss Shakespeare with an android" Well actually, Kirk quoted Shakespeare a few times and he had a few talks with androids, albeit none of them were his friends or crew members. I'm struggling to remember off the top of my head if Kirk ever quoted Shakespeare in the episode "I, Mudd", which had androids, but he surely quoted Shakespeare in episodes such as "Wolf in the Fold" and "A Rose by any other name".

I was a little kid when TNG was airing, so I “filed” the characters in my mind as adults (from a child's perspective). No fault of their's, but I don't think I'll ever be able to feel attracted to any of the [female] crew, despite their outfits. They feel like they're my aunts, or similar.

Uhura also wore an avocado green (filmed as gold) uniform in the first couple of episodes that were filmed, as she had a "command" position, but it was changed to red early in the series, though she was still in a command position, even if we didn't get to see that play out in TOS. Because of the times, and some last minute rewriting, she was never left in charge of the bridge, though she should have been.

If you look at the closeup shots of the men's uniforms (TOS), you can see that there is a zipper on the left side near the bottom of the black collar. The zipper appears to go down under the left armpit of the uniform shirt.

First off there are no such things as "false facts". If it's false it's not a fact. And Chekov was on the Enterprise during Space Seed. Just not bridge crew. According to the novel version of ST2 Khan knew who he was because he had gone over the crew manifest during Space Seed and remembered because well you know, he was Khan.

From my brother who spent a couple of decades in uniform "The stripes on the original series uniforms were designed intentionally to be reminiscent of current day navy stripes on uniforms for officers. For all folks who served in the military, they would be able to tell others what the ranks meant, to give folks watching a frame of reference. These uniform stripes had been used for hundreds of years on Earth, so why would they change?" He went on to point out that while he served, there were always military posters on the walls of virtually every base he served at, that showed all the ranks of all the branches so that anyone would always know, who was whom, so enlisted would always know whom the officers were.

My favorite mistakes were in the Next Generation episode "The Royale" when LaForge describes the planet's surface temperature as "-291 degrees Celsius" - an impossibility, as absolute zero (the coldest temperature possible) is -273.15 degrees C, and in the original series episode "Court Martial", Captain Kirk explains that the ship's sound (auditory) sensors have been amplified (boosted) "on the order of one to the fourth power" in order for those on the bridge to be able to hear the heartbeats of everyone on board. Of course, simple math tell us that "one to the fourth power" is still one (1x1x1x1=1), so boosting the sensors by a factor of one would leave them unchanged. Maybe Shatner was using Canadian (metric) math - lol!

"Mistake #3: A scene was cut". The lack of explanation prompts a valid question, and that question has an answer, as you know. Not everything has to be explained on screen. You know reason why, so there's no reason for you to list this as a "mistake".

I think the idea is that money isn't used within human civilization, but it is still used by many other races and worlds. In order for Starfleet to interact with these cultures, they have to engage in low levels of commerce in order to have the currency.

I have to disagree with your last comment. According to your numbers, Kirk only had romantic encounters in 25% of all the episodes, therefore he is not a horndog. However, ask yourself how many times did he have encounters with a female character of interest in the series altogether and I believe you will find that if a hot female was on the screen and Kirk was dealing with her in some fashion, more than 50% of the time the next scene has them lacing up their boots.
