Need some help. My wife bought a makeup vanity with a lighted mirror. The light wigs out when plugged in, without touching the button. It flickers, turns on and off. It's sitting on carpet, so maybe static electricity has something to do with it. I'd prefer not to return the whole vanity. Can I fix it by adding a capacitor or something? I tried grounding the frame, but that didn't help. Tried an isolated transformer, which helped a little but still flickered. It came with a modern switch mode power adapter. Is it defective? Do I have to replace the part you installed in your video?
