Coming from that era.. When Akira showed up, his sound topped 1985. Sure Ratt, Dokken and all others, but for humbucking dirt bike tone...Akira was a breath of fresh air. MY FAVORITE TUNE OFF THIS ALBUM.

I was the guitar tech at this very show for the opening band. It was their very first show. A band that would go on to make a major mark in the Kansas City and Midwest music scene known as "Mortal Reign"! Ron Bales was the original lead guitarist and a very good friend if mine. They wound up changing their genre from Heavy Queensrych-ish (Porter Howell their original signer had a 4 octive range like Geoff Tate) to Seattle Grunge and that was their best move. I loved the original band but Kurt Halupnick gave the band a more Metallica type sound. They wound up working with many of their hero's including a show I did with them and Megadeath...what a show!!! I seem to recall that another KC band called "Flight" was the second band up for this show. I went to High School with all of them. All of them are now into different bands... Craig Shores, the drummer is in several bands including tributes to Heart and Journey. Greg Manahan is now the bassist for "Head East". Joe Evans is now playing in the same Heart Tribute and a few other bands I believe.

i prefer this version of I Don't Know. During the Ultimate Sin tour, and particularly, on The Ultimate Ozzy video concert, Don Airey's keyboards overshadowed Jake's guitar work in I Don't Know, and every song. I couldn't stand it! A bad decision by Ozzy to drown the music with keyboards. 😥
