How much more drop did you get by removing leafs?I now have a 4” block in rear just wondering about drop with leafs removed.
@@philiphapeshis1226 I'm not sure. You will need a notch with a 4" block and a monoleaf tho
So passenger side torsion bar turn it clockwise and driver side counter clockwise to lower it? Thanks

Good looking truck!
We had the same year 2500 chevy diesel .We put 558000 miles in 4years with very little repair.
What size are those rims? THX!
18s from a 2010 Camaro V6
Did you ever do any performance mods?
Cool dad ! My sons also learn on a electric atv and power wheels . He been driving a 2021 raptor 90 . But want to sale it to buy the new 2024 raptor 110 efi for the best starting and fast start up instead of carb a big headache. My question how’s the efi on this machine and how does your daughter like it sir ?
The EFI has been great so far. I was amazed at even if only a couple of extra seconds, how much faster and smoother this machine is to start with a cold engine compared to her friends little Raptor. The power is nice and smooth. She has loved it so far. I need to get something so her and I can ride together
@@daryncalton8765 yes sir , and you should buy a raptor 700 costly but man are they fun . Am in California so am limited with what I can buy , it sucks but I love those efi over carbs
take it how you want it but your wheels are on fire👍
In case you didn't know the drivers side lug nuts are left handed thread .
2:37 I think that's the 218 flat head crank that's original to the car . Good luck on your build , It's a shame it still don't have the flat head . Those 218's and 230's are fun to build and hop up . Kanter Automotive and Andy Berbaums are great places to get parts for those cars .
Yeah I wish I had original running gear to mess with. I couldn't pass it up for the price though
Love love. Your car. Thanks
try speedway motors for the brake kit
I was thinking about one of their Mustang 2 front kits but haven't decided. I'll probably save that stuff for last
👍
Was there engine mount spacers used on this? I can't seem to get mine close to this without sacrificing my oil pan hahaha
No there wasn't. She daily drove it without any issues
I am doing a 3” block it’s not angled but not removing any leafs just blocks.Should I use a shim on top Of blacks got driveshaft angle it’s a one piece rear end.
I think you should be fine
It looks good
Thanks for having us out, I really enjoyed working on someone elses stuff for a change. I hope we can partition the shop or make a bay or something for you some day to work out of. It was alittle chilly, im excited to see this thing move under its own power
Pretty exciting channel man! Just finished up all your videos on the Silverado build! Keep em comin!
Junk
Thanks for the view 😘
Shes long an lovely
Is the driveshaft long enough after doing this?
If you need me to buy you some cheap Jack stands I don’t mind, them cinderblocks 😬

Factory, Arrival Blue
Nice truck bro
Thank you
Truck starting to look good bro
I was hoping to have it done for our show next weekend but looks like it'll be at next month's show. Just too many little things to do on top of having to redo the shock mounts in the back
Where did you get your seat covers?
Clazzio
Thats a great video. Straight forward, used this to do my b2200
It clockwise looking at your mark or clockwise looking down the rod??
Can you do a video of the front setup
Looking damn good brother
😆 "Promo sm"
I see them Missouri plates I’m in same state
Hey mate, What size wheels/rims are you running? I did this process to my "86 b2000, mono with load bearing on bottom not top so to minimise drop as I also have the 4" block- I'm hardcore hard up on my fenders in rear and not in a good way. My wheel/rims are 18x9 😅 so fender roll out or cut out or do I just go back to stock leaf and block?!!!! Aarghhh. Fantastic outlay to your video also a pleasure to work from but now I'm stuck on how much it will go up in the gaurd if it wasn't hard up, would there even be room for wheel travel if I dump the clutch or turn? Faark I'm stuck on what to do hahaha 😅
I was running a 205 45 17 on this truck but only because I had them laying around. I had an extended cab that was lower and on a 205 40 17
Bad ass truck bro
Thank you
i lowered my 93 with 4" blocks and a mono leaf and then i yanked the torsion bars and im getting a lot of negative camber up front. is it normal? and any way i can get it close to 0 camber?
Your torsion bars are your front suspension, I would reinstall them and reindex them to get it sitting level. Camber/caster shims are the cheapest/easiest thing to try
Do you really need the overload leaf I did my Mitsubishi might max solo leaf and left all of it off just left it as the main nothing else and it slammed the back to the ground, what are the effects of putting the overload leaf back in??
Just as I said, it will make it 3/8" lower by flipping the overload to the top side of the main leaf
Nice place for sure.
Nicer than it ever was when we lived there 😂
Thank you for saying the size of the sockets you're using and also that through socket is genius I did it with a wrench the first time amd it sucked.
That's still the only time I've used that through socket set but I feel like that one time paid for it lol
I bet you can't wait to start driving it and enjoy it after it finally finished bro
I'm getting anxious. It should be a better driver than any bagged truck I've had in the past
@@daryncalton8765 that cool bro I'm just waiting for March to go pick up the bagged truck
Truck look good bro going look better once everything match with the blue color
Thanks, it's slowly coming together
@@daryncalton8765 your welcome bro like I said I'm about be getting a bagged full size truck next March
u said front ball joints, where they upper or lower ball joints?? i built an 04 bagged silverado and i was just wondering what u did..i got djm upper a arms on it now and was gonna cut a 1/2 out of the lower a arms this winter, which might be a bad idea..
The lower ball joints were mounted like factory. With the Nfamus kit they are supposed to be with the threads facing up and come through the bottom side of the spindle
@@daryncalton8765 interesting... I'll have to check there website then, did u compare the lengths with the nfamous lowers to the stock lowers?
@@joshy_h_8088 I didn't. I just knew the geometry was no good with the stock parts so went with this kit
@@daryncalton8765 right on.. appreciate the info... what state are u located in? I've meet some super cool people this past summer in the bagged truck scene and with the more truck buddies the better the hobby is... I'm in Missouri
Truck coming long bro everybody make mistake when you do stuff like that about to get a bagged truck
Yeah this definitely could have been avoided. I'm surprised there aren't any videos showing how everything goes together
Looking good buddy
Should be back on the ground this weekend
@@daryncalton8765 I’m looking at getting the same kit how hard is it to align
@@Buildsbyallen everything pretty much adjusts like factory. I'm going to put some gauges on the truck so I can set the ride height to a psi number and get a good alignment

how low did this drop the truck
Do the rear shocks run low with this method? I used a 4 inch block without removing any leafs and my shocks sit about an inch from the ground. Trying to raise the shocks up somehow. Thanks you
Yes, blocks will always hang your shocks low. You could do a shock tab welded to the rear-end itself
What about if I don't take non just put the 3 inch blocks
Would it raise if you did a mono leaf or would it go lower?
@@wheelspkruel your shocks are still going to be low to the ground like about 5 inches off the ground.
What size wheels and tires?
205 45 17 iirc
you're dead ass inspiring me bro, I just got an 03 bagged Silverado for a stock single cab Silverado for whatever reason the guy was loooking for a more stock vehicle & well I'm blessed to say I saved so much with the bags already installed. Interior is 10/10 but bags need wiring to operate on their own without manually filling them with a portable compressor, other than that it's fucking nice. You're definitely inspiring.
