I had a pair of mg1 in High School 97-00. In my bedroom my friends were only interested in car subwoofers. I made a lot of money installing car stereo and building sub boxes. I had gotten a nice car Alpine cassette stereo. From someone who just had to have a CD player. But my real listening happened at home. I did find mg1 struggling with synthetic bass so i added a power subwoofer with bass crossover. 👍 Parents separated when I was at college and my mom sold them at a yard sale $20.00 She called them my "brown posters" Someone got lucky

Followed the steps from this video and I managed to change the alternator for my 2009 2.4 GLS Sonata. The biggest struggle was to get it out from the brackets but after that it was even harder for me to put the new one in place because the top of it was hitting the plastic valve or whatever is called that controls the air flow I suppose in the gallery, dunno to explain. 50 min to take it out, wiggle it left and right, up and down, helped it with a screwdriver from beneath etc and 1h15min to put the new one and to finish the job completely. In my case everything was just fine until a day ago when the battery light came after I got home from work, after a while it went out by itself, today in the morning it was fine again but after 10 min of driving the battery light came back, tested the battery all good because I changed it in April, tested the alternator and gave me no voltage, I started the engine and I disconnected the battery and the engine died. After changing the alternator I tested the charging and it gave me 14.10 solid, something 14.09v or 14.11v wit AC and headlights on, with them on 14.19v - 14.21v, drove it for an hour and the battery light never came back. I was somehow forced to buy the alternator locally because I needed it really fast instead or ordering it from some reputable place as rockauto, I ordered the Carquest Premium Remanufactured alternator from Advance Auto Parts which comes with Limited Lifetime warranty. The body was from Valeo as like mine that was still with the OEM hyundai sticker on it, both the OEM and this remanufactured thay I bought are made and remanufactured in Mexico. My car has 212.xxx miles and had the original alternator so I don’t have any complaints about it. Hope my info to be helpful as was this video for me. Good luck!

About five years ago, my 2002 Chevy truck had a loud lifter ticking noise. It was a quart low on oil, so I added a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil to the crankcase. Soon the lifter ticking noise disappeared. I drove the truck about 400 miles and when I changed the oil, it was extremely dirty. This was telling me that the MMO was removing the sludge out of the engine. Now after an oil change and it is a quart low on oil, I add a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil to the oil for preventative maintenance. I have also been using MMO in the fuel at every fill up in my car, truck, and lawn mower since 2016. Everything is running better than ever, and my car now gets at least an extra 1 to 2 more miles per gallon on the highway. I use the recommended amount of 4 ounces of MMO for every 10 gallons of gas.

What brand alternator did you use? I tried three cheaper brands that failed quickly before going back to a Hyundai alternator off of rock auto. Could be wiring, bad alternator, or bad computer. I'd check the wiring and measure the voltage at the battery with the car running. It'd be good to get an amp meter and measure the alternator output. Maybe those tests would shed light on the issue? Hopefully it's an obvious wiring issue
