    Just to the south of where you started video there is a cross up on top of bank with names in tree n under trussel lots of names.

    hi! one last question - have you ever been to bear lake campground and if so, would you recommend bear lake over Emerson lakes? Thanks again!!

      If you are looking for something with little more seclusion and less people, emerson lakes is the spot. Bear lake is definitely easier to get to though and we have camped there a few times and enjoyed it

    im hoping that you read this - we are heading out to emerson lakes campground with our 29 ft fifth wheel - do you think the roads are ok with us to drive in? Staying at site 9... any feedback would be awesome! Great video!!! Thanks.

      Oh exciting! Ya I think you will be fine, the roads are grated pretty regularly since there is a fair bit of logging and oilfield activity. We are bringing our trailer out in September also!

      This is one of my favourite locations. Trailer will be ok. I'd recommend 4wd to pull it up the hill so u don't spit any rocks on your trailer when leaving. (just steep) But the road is great. Just make sure no leaks in your trailer as it does get very dusty.

    The Taunton Trestle is now finished with benches added. it will be a gem of the Rocky to Nordegg Rail Trail. it has been built by Clearwater County and Alberta Parks. A wonderful addition to the David Thompson Country Tourism Region. #DTCountry
