As like the first part of the river down to Istanbul, is named Veliraja as veli-raja translated to Finnish means the same as "brother boarder" in Finnish. Veli - Brother and Raja - Boarder ........... Coincidence 🤔 ?!?

Turku or Finland has nothing to do with Turkey. Finnish music is completely different.

My wife and I were there for 5(!) days in Nov. 2018. Not much to see really, the green spaces needed watering and tending to, the streets a clean up. The costanera is a nice walk in the evening though and is safe. Much prefer Encarnacion really.
