It has nothing to do with glowing red. I tried evade his beast drive(↓↓↓B while Shenlong flahses red) with ducking(↓↓). But Clover read it and did ↓↓K. And in the ducking position, you get more damage by the low attacks. Kind of mind game.
Bloody Roar still looks good for an old game. Do you watch Jerimaiah at all? He's another Bloody Roar enthusiast.

Good matches!! Rare to see stuff matches without ACP as some of the most active communities tend to use it, which is great. Nice to see a veteran back to playing this. Have you heard about the new Duckstation netplay with rollback? Might be possible to play with people from other countries with it...
I heard about some kind of rollback thingy when I play Tekken 7 on steam. They updated rollback frame system before and then I play with other countries, it's better than before but the game still stiff a little and has inputlag even the opponent was Japan which is still not enough for me lol. But thank you for teaching me that information about Duckstation. I'll tell that to our commu and see what I can.

is there any trick or advice to master side-step??
It's not that hard. You just need to know the next attack of the opponent. For example, after Long or Shenlong's neutral K, the lower attack(↓P or ↓K) will come unconditionally, so you can easily prepare for the lower side step.

could you explain how do you evade laterally sometimes? equivalent to pressing "down down"/"up up" in most fighters. In BR2 I cant quite replicate it to keep turning.
