Hits a bit different when you're up in Alaska during winter for sure. Even if you aren't after gold, just seeing the lack of light and the majesty of the mountains is certainly something.

My wife, son and I spent the Christmas of 2024 in Anchorage, Alaska, with our two daughters and their families. Best way I know of to refine the purest gold there is--the love and happiness when a family gets together to celebrate each other and their love for the Savior.
