While I've been living in Southsea for nearly two years now and am content here, seeing videos like this reminds me that Ryde will always be my hometown.

On the shoreline above the pine trees where a large slab of concrete sits was once home to a ww2 search light building (one still remains at Colwell bay ) a friend of mine blew it up with a large gas canister and made a huge hole in the wall leading it to be demolished as it was unsafe to remain standing.

Did you leave the camera there and go and get a cup of tea the sea is moving and the people are moving but the camera isn’t

Btw I stole a banana from delicious cafe and I lost it in the sea then a couple days later some person posted it on instagram and said found this banana in the sea😂😂😂

The sound of th sea is so relaxing and the shells on the beach are lovely

Lovely seagull in the background noises and the beach in Ryde certainly different during overcast weather

Just listening to the jingle of the boats on the sea on any morning is lovely

Watching the hovercraft is making me feel better especially being IOW as at the moment I have a broken bone in my foot

Cannot beat the joys of watching the hovercraft at Ryde love it been on them in the past never get fed up with them

Disappointed because there was sound to start of with then NO sound

The hovercraft is the best absolutely love travelling on this when I had holidays on the Island hoping to come over next year for a holiday and my hubby to be hasn't been to the Island before or the hovercraft so hes in for a treat
