DE RAZIA VAN PUTTEN Verslag van een ooggetuige
Dit is het verhaal van de razzia van Putten.
Lub Vonhof was als kind ooggetuige. Hij zag met eigen ogen hoe zijn vader destijds werd opgepakt en weggevoerd. Lub verteld het verhaal op de betreffende plekken in Putten, aan zijn zoon en kleinzoon. Het verhaal is geïllustreerd met archiefmateriaal.
Op 2 oktober 1944 voerden de Duitse bezetters een razzia in Putten uit.
De aanleiding was dat een verzetsgroep vanuit een hinderlaag een personenauto van de Duitse Weermacht had beschoten. Putten werd door Duitse troepen omsingeld. Vrouwen en kinderen werden naar de kerk gedreven. Mannen tussen de 15 en 50 werden afzonderlijk opgesloten.
De volgende dag zijn alle gevangen genomen mannen tussen weggevoerd waaronder Lub’s vader.

Anybody knows why his album “Praise you Lord” is not on any streaming services? I think it is his best early works.
Buddy Green is a great player and his favorite Harmonica player is Charlie McCoy the country western player. He can play just like him doing his style exactly note for note. He plays with Persian and with great articulation. He has the speed down well. You are not actually playing fast. You sound like you are playing faster than you actually are. He turns it out.
Se fosse só gaita já seria sensacional mas é fera no violão e canta muito, o cara é um fenômeno, e aqui no Brasil ouve-se pisadinha e bostanejo, triste.

Buddy Greenes music and lyrics has been a part of my life since the 80's. As a harp.player of 40 yrs I find his harp playing unbelievable. One of my favorite musicians and harp player. I gave my life to Jesus at the age of 24 on 12-26-1983 and at the present age of 64 on Sept.16th I'm still walking down the narrow road with Jesus. What a journey it has been and continues to be.
