I walk through the dangerous streets of El Centro Medellin, and got to see things first-hand. My conclusion on how to stay safe while being there? Be down to earth, dress normal, mind your business, be alert and just be yourself.

Dude your videos aren’t good, they don’t actually show anything !
Techwood… man…
I remember when “junk man’s daughter” used to be down Euclid ave with a skateboard shop in the basement! I guess that makes me old school.
better known as GLENWOOD FLEA MARKET😂
There and Buddy's was the spot💯
Back in 84-89 in my teenage years, we would ride thru there and buy dime bags of weed when in a pinch. We were young, broke white dudes from Decatur area. We took big risks in the hood to get our weed when local dude was out. Saw stuff no 15 year old should've seen. And, we even went as far as take a bus over to the area and walk around Glenwood, boulevard etc. But, guess what else?? I'm 53 now, still alive. Nobody ever messed with us. Kinda felt that respect we was able take bus into the cross fire and not be skeered.
I'm watching this as a 42 year old who use to do stuff like this 20 plus years ago. I wonder if people around my age range are still doing this. My brother told me years ago if you're 35 plus still clubbing you're suppose to have the fattest pocket and the most expensive car otherwise you look stupid.
F12
I bought Waka Flocka Flame (Album & Mixtape) 🔥🔥🔥
Dude, you need a polarizing filter for your camera, too much glare;;
there’s a guy that sells natural juices there that i met and he gave me his instagram but i lost it so you know what it’s called ?
I can say living in Atlanta for years, Buckhead is the worst part of town for culture, and as far as women they are super fake and bougie and shallow, east Atlanta and downtown are much more real and down to earth and affordable and better DJs art clubs bars etc. don't fall for these dumbass tourist traps.
Trash
This is a area in the ATL where most blacks can't even rent 😮
Yet hella blacks rent there.
@@laryanryan9170 you rite I was talking about homeowners.
But black professionals can.
Great video of the A night life keep them com
I’m from Brooklyn NY ❤ heading down to ATL 🏀😎💨
Damn that was some awful camera work.......
That’s faizon at 11:17?
If you say so. I’m not fond of malls that have that white purgatory feel. And people in the suburbs don’t want to deal with all the BS traffic to get to Lenox square mall. So it’s basically for the people who live in butthead.
Reminiscent of the 1990s
i wanna go to the lil crensaw food court..... every time i go there..... its something poppin off... time to run
😊 promo sm
Nice Botero quick look
Que lindo para pasear en familia ,hermoso
lived in Euclid Court a couple blocks up from the points in early to mid 2000s...seems alot of stores still there, and Richard still around, somehow!
PCB is the best!
This was my Spot in the late 90s!!!
Nice video sir please more videos sir 😊
it's not that bad if you are a Black man just don't wear flashy stuff and dress like a modestly (no offence) and you will be fine
You're partly right man, but its not a color thing. Its all about not going around people that are just trying to make ends meet every single day trying to show off or be flashy. If any tourist remembers this they should be ok when they go to centro. It's a place that's misunderstood, just like the title of the video suggests. I had no issues when i was there. They showed respect. Anywhere you go, you have to try to show respect for the place. My end goal for this UA-cam channel is to try to uplift people, not to bring them down. Thanks for the Comment.
Used to live there😊
I meant to say "flour and silly strings everywhere".....typo.
i love it so good documentation
The cheap burner phone i bought to use in Medellin was acting up the whole night. Had important calls coming in but had bad signal due to the amount of people that were using their phones in one spot. I was fighting with it while trying to get footage. My multitasking skills kicked in though 😄
Why do people still drive to a nightclub?? Cops just wait a block or two down the road and you pick DUI easily
Not everyone drinks and drive duh
Drink water
El raudal
Very old video 22 ? Botero has been secure and fenced off for some time
No sir, just got word its not fenced off. Still open to the public.
@@therawlens yes it's open but it's been fenced in for a month. i live in medellin
@@therawlens ua-cam.com/video/5NVVR0LsQXo/v-deo.html
The person i got the info from lives close to centro. As long as people can walk around and experience the tourist attractions things should be ok.
Yh is old I’m in Colombia right now The fence still here

The cops leave at a certain time. So people have to be careful.
Yea they leave in the evening
Medellin is wild. You do have to be alert.

I like the way you think bruh. Keep pushing the good word for me.
You left out the metal/gun detectors that were recently at the entrance of the mall, and the over abundance of security guards throughout the mall.
That's a response to the overabundance of crime.
Most major cities are implementing that at most major places. Its a big city thing.
@@danielholden-zd5fy almost 100% by the 13%.
@@jamesfields2916 the world is on the brink of nuclear annihilation, and it ain't by the 13%, but by the white virus that has infected the entire planet leaving nothing but death and destruction in its wake. this country has been sold out from the inside, and, again, not by the 13%, but by the white politician who isn't even loyal to his fellow white countrymen.
