I remember when my neighbour from across the road play this album of Gary Lewis then I learnt to like Gary Lewis songs. This neighbour of mine went to America to live and work and I've heard he died lately of heart attack.😢

Definitely an underrated group, along with the Buckinghams.

That’s NOT the “Playboys” playing back-up. The record company found them sub-standard. Instead, they hired the great session group, The Wrecking Crew. Also, notice how they “doubled” Gary Lewis’ voice, because he was actually a very weak singer.

This is avery good record I used to have but cannot hear it anymore, as there is no stylus for my phonograph. But nowI found it here, I can enjoy it once more, some 55 years later!

I bought this album brand new in 1966!

I much prefer this version of Sure Gonna Miss Her. It's also on their Golden Greats album. The original 45 version sounds like it should be in a Mexican bull fighting film.

Sounds a lot like the hollies and the backing and drumming. I like Bobby vee’s rubber ball too
