Hello Do you sell the arduino methane monitor and data acquisition equipment? If not do you have the schematic and software for the methane emissions Monitor? I am doing a test on a new product for reducing Methane in cattle and this would be perfect for a quick and dirty test to see if it works and if I should move forward with the project. Anything that you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

So, it would be very interesting to see the level of accuracy added, compared to methane production estimated on the basis of as-lib intake with known pasture quality. Your results appear to suggest there would be little difference

Thank you very much for your comment Apparently, there is a very little relationship between dry matter intake and methane emission when data are obtained from animals with similar intake, as in our case. We thinks that to develop a more generic methodology, it is necessary to obtain data from a wide range of dry matter intake.
My question stands. Until you actually make such a comparison, you can't answer the question. Your statement "Apparently, there is a very little relationship between dry matter intake and methane emission when data are obtained from animals with similar intake" , does seem to suggest a fundamental lack of understanding of the physiology and biochemistry of enteric methane generation
Dear John. The role of dry matter intake in methane production is indisputable. But to our surprise, it have been difficult to find an aceptable Coefficient of Determination between DMI and CH4, when we studies methane emissions in animals with similar intake, for example: dairy cows or steers. For this reason, and considering the accelerometers operational utility over the intake estimation methods, we are trying to find a methodology to estimate methane emissions in grazing animals and at large scale
