Hi Chris, Yes, Processor and memory intensive applications will affect other users. For example, A members of staff tried to play an HD video across 7 multipoint screens from a share on the server and most screens just ended up buffering. all the time.

Hi John, I would like to know if one user starts a application that use a large amount of ram (easily 1gb+) and loads of CPU does this server allow this with out affecting other screens?.

Hi William - TCP port 3389 and UDP port 3389 are used by remote desktop protocol and it sounds like your router is blocking the ports. You need to open the ports on your router.

Hi in have a D-Link router and running Windows Multipoint Server 2010 and I want to network the LAB for my students and whenever I try to connect any of the clients to the server a pop up message i coming saying "failed to connect to server at port 3389, is the server available" kindly assist me on this one please Sir

For two monitor you will need a multi output video card on the Multipoint Server then simply plug in a USB hub and connect your extra mouse and keyboard.

The M300 had a lot of problems when released - Vspace and firmware updates have fixed a lot of them and they are VERY cost effective. The problem is they come in three's and have a master unit which can cause problems. For truly independent and stand alone the L300 is the only option and is a very good performer, but cost more money.

Actually John, your video was very informative. WMS has very poor documentation and it's like the lost red headed stepchild in the MSFT family. I am looking at using it for a small office network of 10 users. I have a server that I can convert to become the WMS, using 2012. How is your experience with the n-Computing clients? Which ones are you using and how is the performance?
