No rest for the fishermen
Early morning in Peterhead harbour, the inshore fishing fleet come to life. It was a still October morning with the temperature barely above freezing. The inshore fishing fleet was already on the move to take advantage of the favourable weather and the relatively flat sea.

A great day for wind surfing today that was capitalised on by the Peterhead wind surfers. The wind was just starting to pick up so the sea was fairly flat but they were managing to get good speed.

On this still summer evening there was a mix of industrial activity and recreational sailing, where the pilot boat escorted one of the larger vessels to ASCO Base. There was a load test being carried out on a crane onboard one of the vessels in the harbour while some young saliors were enjoying a sail about the bay.

Gardenstown is a fishing village, about 8 miles from Banff in Aberdeenshire, northeast Scotland. Alexander Garden of Troup founded Gardenstown in Banffshire in 1720 as a fishing port. Cut in the cliff side along side Crovie, another beautiful village.
Deer Abbey Mintlaw

Between Mintlaw and New Deer, Deer Abbey stands at the road side. It was thought to have been founded in 580AD by St Columba and his nephew St Drostan. It is said to have been once the home of The Book of Deer or LEABHAR DHEIR one of Scotlands most precious manuscripts.
Aikey Brae Stone Circle

Estimated at over 4000 years old The Aikey Brae stone circle is one best, complete and "unimproved" stone circles in the area. Located between Mintlaw and Maud, its a pleasant walk up a reasonable incline and well worth a visit. You'll see and experience the atmosphere when around something so old that has been visited for centuries.

@@johnblack8806 it was really quite dark. Filmed in dlog and brightened up okay in post.
@@markdavidson5631 Have seen mention of D-log for video, not sure what it is. Summit else ta learn down the road. I just use the dji edit in the app. I did use final cut years ago and liked it.
@johnblack8806 same idea as RAW in photography. Flat profile but more scope when editing.

@NhatHuyNg it looks heat treated but I'm not certain. It's a really nice watch and surprisingly accurate. I'm impressed

@@joflor4718 It is a really special piece. My video skills are not anke to donit justice. I can't remember the tune title. It's stock music from the editing software.

Thanks. I used an Air 3 with an ND32. 4k 30fps (for the most part) some 4k 60fps. ISO 100. Shutter speed double the frame rate, pretty much.
