Dual inverter ac running off solar generator
What state u in?
what was the issue?
Even though the 12000XP has “4” solar inputs, it only has two MPPTs….mixing different panel sizes and different facing directions is really going to hurt your solar performance. I would recommend getting separate MPPTs for your oddball arrays if you want maximum solar output.
Did some testing with a set of six panel per pv input. Removed the 4 panel string. There was a difference in wattage between the two pv inputs. 40 watts. If the two 6 panel string were on the same pv input there would be a loss of 40 watts x 6 hours. Is that worth getting a charge controller that can handle 250v open circuit?
What a mess Looks like a tweeker or fentanyl addict has been there...
Very cool --- congrats and nice setup!
Good to see that you are safe
Nice setup, greetings from Jamaica.
Hurricane Milton left us without power for a week here in FL. I have 4 100 W solar panels, but I haven't figured out how to mount them yet. The issue I have is how to get the wires and cables into the garage without violating code.
Rotary
Sturdy.
Why did you decide not to mount your array on posts cemented in the ground instead of containers full of cement? Thanks
@@PrecisionGroupYT post in ground seemed more permanent. Using the containers make it easier to take down or move. Thx
Man - totally in a situation where i want to set up like that. Thanks for the update.
Nice setup you got there. Glad you came through the storm without destructive winds like so many others. Peace✌🏻from Alberta Canada 🇨🇦
Nice👍👍
Wow GOOD LUCK
Won't that condense into liquid (as opposed to atomized) in the intercooler?
Compressor wheel is so hot it evaporates the water and cools the air charge imo
Ingenious! Well done!
firehouse sub have 5 gallon buckets for $3 each.
Good idea. Maybe I will adapt it as well. Thanks.
Interesting approach. I suppose you could create the concrete mounts with a shorter piece of lumber, which attaches to some lumber of the actual frame with some structural screws. Basically take that post and make it two sections. The advantage is you can detach the upper frame easier, rather than right at the top where those posts connect to the cross beam. Move it around and your posts separately and be able to adjust the height of each post by altering where the two parts screw together. It would even let you adjust the angle seasonally by lifting each post up/down as needed.
Great idea. I'll do this if I do another one Thx
Very neat idea and makes it easier if you decide you want to move or just take away at any point. Most of the other solutions are basically permanent. Great job!
Thx
Thanks for this, I may use it. I was thinking of putting a piece of rebar in the wood in a bucket with some pvc to drive rebar into the ground and use fewer buckets. This could be moved if needed. Again thanks.
@@JR-xw5dk Thx. I'll make another video tomorrow of why I went this route.
@@sleeper7 I was not saying it was bad, I was just looking at a lower cost way of doing a movable solar rack. They make a post ( for decks etc) that has a small concrete base and you drive four rods into it. I just remembered that. I doubt it is cheap at all.
@@JR-xw5dk Didn't take it in a bad way.. Posted video for input/suggestions. That just helps me improve next time.
You can get 5 gallon buckets at the Walmart bakery for $1 or maybe free. You could have oiled the inside of the totes and reused them. Just a thought. I hope your system works fine for you.
This is really cool man. Awesome job. You've given me some ideas.
Thank you.
Not connected to the grid. They recharge my diy solar generator to power crypto mining rigs.
How is it connected to the home?
A water compressor then goes to an aquarium engine..
What nooze IS in the end of the water LINE?
M5 nozzle with Aem 200psi pump
this is going to destroy the turbo eventually, water meth is most efficient when injected post intercooler and into the intake manifold. youre ruining the compressor blades, and not even cooling down the area meant to be cooled by water-meth injection.
Привет.Еще не сломался?)
When this hybrid inverter is set to 100v, can it be operated at an output of 4000w, or will it be operated at half the output? Also, can the input be automatically switched in the following order: solar panel > battery > public energy? I purchased a 6500w inverter from another company, PowMr, but I cannot switch the power input and it is always on commercial power, so I am interested in this product.
Helo. I live in cuba and I have the very same model and brand. Is normal that the screen shows baterry conected and charging without baterry conected????
I will check mine this weekend. What is your pv voltage?
@@sleeper7 my pv voltage is 450 vdc. But I don't have solar panels yet. Too expensive to us in Cuba. But hope soon have them. We want to use the inverter as a back up when we get the litium bateries we have already in USA. But the inverter screen shows baterry conected and charging!!!! Without any baterry!!!
The flappy tape makes me nervous lol
Very nice video. I wonder if its the same internals as the powmr brand? Does yours allow output at 120v -240v?
I was informed Sumry produces for POWmr
Works great for IAT and makes the compressor act bigger than it is. Long term, goodbye leading edge of compressor blades ☹️
Sir plz help. Me i have powmr 4.5kw inverter SBU mod is not working
That looks nice.
Looking good man. You got a head start compared to us. -Ian.
This is beautiful work
That transmission is a doug nash?
Yes
@sleeper7 I have a doug nash in my car that is a rotary engine too and I'm looking for shifter like the one you have any idea where can I get one?
I'm in Florida. You??
Connecticut
You have Facebook or Instagram?
Hi u still have the rx7?

I appreciate that.
Question: how much power in watts does it consume when no load is attached to it.?
35 to 40 watts
@@sleeper7 waoo!! thats alot. Its an important factor to consider when buying these inverters.
Posted a new video on the watt draw
@@sleeper7 will check it out.
Yes I got the very same few days ago. Not arive yet because I live in Cuba. Hope arive soon. The very same brand and the same model at ebay
Been trying to do research on water injection mostly for antilag use. If you have the time for some specs, what PSI / GPM did you run it at?
200psi water injection pump. 10 gum pre turbo that came on at 10psi. Two 15gpm nozzles in charge pipe that came on at 20psi. System used around 12 to 16 oz per pass. Straight water.
Not sure what the warranty guy would say about the cavitation on your impeller.
Ran this turbo for over 10 years with thousands of passes. No issues. No air filter. Water jet was a M5.
@@sleeper7 Oh, I was just making a joke. My aunt had an M5, it looked a bit different though.
Oh yes the turbo warranty was out the window as soon as I ran the car. Once left a socket on the radiator cowl and when I launched the car the socket landed in the turbo. Did do some minor damage but didn't effect turbo in my opinion. Took a while to figure out why the car wasn't making boost. Lol
@@sleeper7shit like that really can make your day a lot longer😂 edit. I'm also left wondering. Did it happen to be a 10 mil socket by any chance?
Pulling 50 amps from each battery and battery voltage falls and hold steady at 11.7 is ok. If battery voltage slowly fell to 11 volts during this test i would have been worried about the health of the batteries. Also the battery voltage bounced back to 12.4v after the test was complete. Maybe a longer test the batteries voltage would have dropped further. Depending on time and amp draw.
Do u know if your supposed to let the voltage drop that low? I think your supposed to have more batteries, so it doesnt drop to 11.7
Is it done to keep compressor temperature low or to increase pressure inside the cylinder when water becomes vapour?
To keep air temps low. Was running E85 at 35psi and I believe the water injection helped kept air temp low. Also ran two nozzles in the charge pipe.
Water methanol injection pre turbo can effectively make your turbo act "bigger" due to an increase in mass flow rate, while cooling the intake air dramatically
Cool it on the way in, heat on th way out...its magic
It will also increase pressure in the cylinder. Water turning to steam will expand in volume by 1700 times, and has a higher heat capacity so it will carry away more heat. Air only doubles its volume every time its temp is doubled. Thats why high performance will always mean high heat.
