20:18 why there is oil? Is it another drain plug? I removed that bolt today and I didn't have dripping oil. Does it mean my transmission doesn't have the oil? I have 2010 golf 5 spd.

I want to convert my 2014 VW JSW/Golf Variant from a 6 speed DSG to a 6 speed manual transmission, get malone tuning fuel pump calibration, EGR assembly removal, Intake Swirler removal, Malone Tuning Stage 3 with a 52 mm CR-170 turbo, intercoller upgrade, Kerma TDI coolant hoses and Kerma TDI Turbo hoses.

I’m doing a 6 speed swap on a 2016 Jetta Sport 1.8T with a trans from a 2016 gti. Exactly the same process

Is it necessary to drop the subframe?? I’ll be attempting to remove a 09G transmission on my 2914 Jetta 1.8T. If I can get away with not dropping subframe…. That would save me a lot of headache hahahahha

How did you wire clutch position sensor and reverse light?

I'm currently doing this on a 2012 JSW, except we are swapping the engine and manual trans for the existing enginge and DSG that is currently in it. Anything i should know about coding, reverse lights, clutch switch? Should I swap the whole pedal bracket or do the brake pedal and clutch each on their own?

Do you have to shave the top of the bell housing to get it to fit properly?

Bought this lens today and getting the same noise.

Maybe old - but all my AF-S 1.8 lenses make similar noise - 20/1.8, 28/1.8, 50/1.8 and 85/1.8 - worse with hood. Except for the 20mm I am the first owner, no abuse. Compared to lets say my 100/2 DC using the internal camera motor these lenses are loud (in a quiet room), same with my Canon L lenses, but those have a different price point. It is not loud like lets say an old Canon 50/1.8 not even as loud as the new Canon 50/1.8 STM, which has a very different kind of noise.

I bought brand new from Amazon and it has same noise coming while autofocus.

Exactly the same noise on my second-hand copy. Does your lens work now after year? I hope its just a sound and it will work for years, because I really love the lens...
