Obliterate Blaze doesn't destroy all spells/traps on activation. It adds an IGNITION effect to the exodia. Sure the spell is a quick play but that doesn't mean the effect gained is a quick effect. Also the exodias atk gain effect during calculation is optional, you probably shouldn't activate it against yubel unless you're otking 🤘

Game 3 you can't summon beetle off of bloom cause konkon effect to set from deck plant locks you, but don't think it mattered too much. Glad to see you playing plants, it's my favorite deck =)

As someone who uses Millennium Exodia as his main driver deck, it pains me to see the misplays your opponent is doing! The draw phase shifter is nothing new to stun strats, but he misses cues left and right from there out. This deck is very weak against snake-eyes and Yubel unless you know how to play through them. Having fires of rage in had is a big plus since you can keep that as a surprise instead of setting up as a disruption with Exodia’s effect and letting your opponent see it, but he uses it too early. You wait preferably until your opponent attempts to swing in battle phase if possible. If you’re forced to play it sooner, wait until it hurts the most. When he plays obliterate blaze, the resolution of the “pay half LP, clear as many cards in the S/T zones as possible” effect also causes the pieces to be placed as equip spells. Your Engravers removal would send the pieces to the grave as well. (Not a big deal since he had fires of rage in grave to recycle them back to deck). If you have any questions regarding rulings for these cards, I’m more than happy to help, lol. It’s a very fun deck to play, but it is truly glorified stun. My main strategy is to go first and hope I have some card that will get me to ankh, and a copy of secret village of the spellcasters. That’s game for most major decks right now. Snake eyes/Azamina can play through it now, but if I have removal options that can be set up, it can be mitigated.

I think the raika package should be as small as possibe and i think, Arachnocampa and exceed at 3 ist the best to play throgh handtraps and you have to Cut trapholes, to have more space for non engine.

I have a similar format at my local but there's a tinsy tiny little problem, holutea is at 1 xD. Of course it gets a great deal worse but that's because the power level is generally lower, so do you think this would work with a couple of the phantom knight trap?

It's always nice and players being respectful. Some of the people in the background seemed pretty upset over losing.

I did well at my sneak peak for a box. Was at top table with x-0 record and lost to someone giving me the word ruling (they corrected themselves later) and the next day my opponent stalling for time.

What's the probability of opening twice in a row with the only 1 copy of Prosperity ? XD Big missplay for the Ritual Beast player on Evenly Matched. He should have chained SP to banish herself and the Link 4(they come back after) and kept the spell card for follow up if he draws a Ritual Beast monster.
