“Saying Goodbye” with Puppets and Ukulele
Some of our favorite people have experienced major losses recently, my fluffy Quaranteam and I decided to shoot a video so we can send our best wishes and hugs in spirit. We took advantage from being stuck in the only room in the house with AC during today’s heatwave. Everything was recorded and edited today on an iPhone that barely has any space on it. Hoping to edit this cleaner in the future but just wanted to make sure to put it out there for our loved ones.
Order of vocal performances:
Monty the Sea Otter Pup
Moose
Stacy Monster
Klaus the Cow
Bullseye
Marty McChicken
Dr. Stacy Monster (also ukulele)

Speculoos Cookies with a Timely History Lesson

Wanted to share my video beyond Instagram... I, like many of you, have been deep in thought and in my feelings this weekend. I had already planned to make these beautifully spiced biscuits/cookies for some warmth and self-care, but while I was measuring the spices, I couldn’t help but think about how these ingredients made their way across the world, over hundreds of years, and into my pantry. ...

German-inspired pantry raid during COVID-19! Apologies for the shaky video. Also, my phone is so low on space that I didn’t do any fancy editing. Gluten appetit! (That’s a pun)

Murder on the Orient Express Video Book Report circa 1998

Retrieved from my embarrassing adolescent archives, this is one of many video book reports and projects I created while attending Heidelberg American High School in Heidelberg, Germany. Whenever possible, I would make these videos by myself and without any witnesses, but in this instance, I enlisted help from my poor father for a couple scenes. Oh, the things I put that man through. This is a s...

Victoria Coren Mitchell and David Mitchell's first wedding anniversary was the perfect excuse for me to make a brand new Muppet music video starring Moose, who has been my loyal companion since the 4th grade, and my alter ego Stacy Monster (his girlfriend). This is a very loose interpretation of Victoria and David's courtship, albeit with more sunlight and a shorter duration of time. Congratula...

This video has it all: bored children, the soothing sounds of Atari, 80s fashion, frazzled parents, a sepia-toned home decorating palette, Candyland times 2, and me scarfing down loads of pizza and cake. I think this explains much of why I post so many pictures of food on Facebook.
What Are You Doing New Year's Eve by Jake and Stacy

To celebrate the last day of Jake-a-palooza, we tried to beat the record for the most awkward faces Jake could make in a single evening. Note: He is actually very happy singing this song, just ridiculously focused on hitting that high note. Note 2: We beat the record.

Ah, the creative process at its finest. Here I am taking a break from writing my dissertation at 2am by learning a classic Fleetwood Mac tune. Pardon the glitches - both my Macbook and I are in desperate need of rest :-P

Barry White was not "fine" when this aired. He was in a very bad way and died less than a year later.

I love his welding anecdote. We would do similar "back in the day", by suggesting to naive colleagues that winding the power right up was necessary when welding thick steel sections, then stepping right back and waiting for the inevitable, massive spark explosion. Not big. Not clever but bloody funny. (Don't try that at home, kids).

  • @tyecook9630

There's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes!...that perfectly sums up why I love this man...he is such a treasure, a man that sees the humor in life but keeps it honest. He never relies on a cheap gag to be funny, and even referring to him as "funny" seems not quite right. He's just honest and has an interesting outlook on life and he sees the humor in everything. I've always felt the same way and I've spent my life kinda laughing at myself but I don't have the charisma of this man. Billy is the every man, he is you and me, and it's so true with how he presents himself. There's never an air of "oh look at me I'm a star!"...he's just a man with his feet on the ground and not afraid to say what comes to mind...God bless him...

I like rain also, rains great. Imagine living somewhere where they get no rain.... they hate that. And it doesn't rain as much in Britain as people seem to think for e.g. Rome in Italy gets more rain than London UK, fact.

Try living in Ireland for 12 months. It's rains for 7 to 8 months of the year. What's funny is our politicians tried to charge us for water not so long ago.
