That was fun! Used to be a ballet dancer, so it looked simple to learn, but at 64 yrs old and much out of practice, I don’t know how well I could execute it 😂. I might practice later…! Thx again!

I had the pleasure of having Peter fix up i fiddle for me a short time ago and i had the absolute pleasure of playing some of the fiddles he himself made.One of which had to be the most beautiful sounding fiddles I've ever played. A shame i was a few bob short of the buying price. we spoke for what felt like hours (and certainly didn't feel long enough) about different fiddles and makers especially the Stoneyford fiddle maker Hugh Gordon (and to my surprise Peter owned Huge's old violin molds). Peter and Rory have my upmost respect and I view every visit to their workshop as a privilege. when I need a repair of to have my fiddle looked over Peter is my go to man.

I'm envious of that guy's shop and all his tools, I've recently gotten bit by the blacksmithing and bladesmithing bug and for me it's almost a meditative process.

If your name is Boardman, can you be anything other than a woodworker? Can you imagine if 300 years from now, people argue whether a violin is a real Boardman or not?
