The best voice I've ever heard and you look so much like Turks my friend
Yes. I have the 1098. Love it thus far ❤
Looks good!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Vrod are awesome. Don't understand the hate
1130cc or 1250cc and only makes 110-120 hp, they overheat, have misc issues with every little thing, etc. I have a 2007 night rod special and like all Harley’s they are unrefined, put junk components like controls and such on them stock so you go aftermarket. Then if you have them serviced by Harley they charge you a fortune just for labor for some white trash votech school mechanic. Harley is trash and now they went woke to boot
Vrod will be like picasso. Best HD ever made. 🤘🖤🤘
Such an informative video brother! I was able to learn a lot about the great history and technological accomplishments of Harley Davidson as a company and the Vrod in such a short time! Can’t wait for the upcoming videos and the Body Kit reveal!! 🔥🔥
Thank you for your support brother. You're the real MVP!
I love Vrods. I’ve had 6 over the last 19 years and currently have two. My first was an 04B that I got early in 05. In the lineup of Vrods over the years included two Nightrod Specials. One of my current Vrods is a 2008 Nightrod, the last year of the original Nightrods. It is hands down my favorite Vrod and the one I should have gotten many years ago. Not counting the drag strip only Destroyer model, the 08D is the fastest Vrod that they made. That’s if you compare them strictly by the numbers. It got all the 2008 upgrades including the bigger 1250cc motor that they put on the newer Vrods to compensate for the larger 240 rear tire, however the 08D kept the lighter narrow 180. Also off all the factory wheels, the 08D has the lightest wheels. So it basically comes down to a horsepower to weight ratio race, and the 08D wins. One of my favorite features is the mid controls and forward highway pegs. This makes it the most comfortable in my opinion. Anyway, you sir have an awesome bike and welcome to club Vrod. Thank you for making more Vrod content.
Thank you for the great comment brother. This is my first Harley so it's great to learn the experience of veterans like you. I got a 260 rear wheel and the smaller 1130cc motor, it's still plenty fast! But I'd love to experience the faster setups. Based on my research you can't do much to gain power unless going with forced induction. Have you done any performance mods?... And I definitely wish mid-controls with highway pegs were a standard feature on all VRODs!
@@ataexpo3886 That’s one of my favorite features of the Vrod, they come with tons of performance off the rip compared to any other Harley. I’ve had two turbo Vrods hitting just over 160 ponies. I’d like to do a super charger one day and I’m thinking about a big bore for my Nightrod. But after talking to one of my Vrod buds, he has me seriously considering just doing a stage two. I’ve got everything already but the cams and that will get me closer to a 150hp than not and keep ride and reliability. If you want a cheaper performance mod that you can really feel in the seat, get the 26 tooth front pulley. You’ll lose a little off the top end, but your 0-100 will be balls fast, off the line, or light to light is intense. I’ve put it on my last three Vrods. Check out Fitzgerald’s Motorsports. Scott there is the man when it comes to Vrod performance. That front pulley isn’t crazy expensive either. Maybe $200 I think. Definitely worth it though. Cheers.
@@bothetinman772Man you're the VRod master! Thank you I will look into the mods for sure.
It’s so fucking deep….. I love it!
to sell a product you must understand your customer, Harley riders don't care too much about speed. if they did, they wouldn't be Harley riders.
Very true. Many of the competitors offer speed at much lower cost
Outside of the liter bikes, in the power cruiser category there isn’t much that can compete with the Vrod. The M109 try’s to put up a fight, and the Vmax is basically a monster version of a naked R1. The Rocket III has an extra cylinder and still doesn’t really walk away from the Vrod. At a minimal Harley has always had a better fit and finish than any other manufacturer out there. Harley has lots of bikes on the tracks, and huge motor builds. There are a few of us Harley riders that like performance. We just like it with some style too.
First to be here! Brruuh! That sounds sexy AF 🔥
Thank you!
Wow! What kind of exhaust is that?
DANMOTO with the baffles removed
Holy shit !
What rear fender is that
Aftermarket done by previous owner. Looks like this: bikelifenation.net/products/vrod-rear-v-rod-vrsc-vrscaw-vrscd-vrscdx-harley-davidson-rear-fender
This is super creative 👌🏻
Thank you!
You do realize that asbestos right
Yea I had painting mask on, thanks for you concern bro
Its fibreglass
That’s cool that you got it on video.. cool
Is that normal ?
yes, If you wet the wrap before wrapping, it will smoke/steam a lot for a few minutes
Titanium wraps require no water@@ataexpo3886
Two types of Harley riders: ones that gently click into first vs ones that kick the shifter peg into next week 😂
2000% bad ass, I ride triumph but man thats tough looking and sounds insane
Thank you bro
ohhh my good.. what a sound.
Interested with that extra tank, got a tutorial.
Thank you for the review. I’m 46 and I’m looking to possibly purchase a bike like this. We are roughly the same size. Anyways, I’m just done owning a car. If I need a car, I’ll rent one, or take an Uber. Speaking of renting, I might check out the website you speak of to check one out firsthand. Just trying to minimize my life. Btw, the John Deere part ended up being hilarious. Take care man.👍
Thanks for the kind words sir, they can be hard to find these days! You have a great channel too and good luck with all the changes you're making to your life, Change is the only proof for growth. Take care brother.
@@ataexpo3886You got it brother. I really appreciate your reply! Thank you for your kind words and information as well. I'll make sure to be on the lookout for one. I'm in no rush, but I really like this model. At least it gives me an idea of the type of bike I'm looking for. Keep up the great filming and ttys. Wishing you and yours all the best in the meantime.✌️💯
sound like it got a wild cams in it... sound addictive, nice.
Thanks Tony.
Stock Vrod engine no can work just how they sound. I know cause I got one 😎

What pipes are you running? Cause I'm picking up a vrod and want it to sound like that
It's danmoto with baffles removed. I suggest keeping the baffles tho!
I also have the pleasure of having the same bike in red. I bought it in July 2011 and it has been with me till now. Unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience which was the only one. Broke the crankshaft bearing. It was a big enough damage that fortunately Ducati covered my costs, recognizing that it was not my fault. Since then I haven't had any problems. I love her very much!!!! ❤
Hey happy to see you enjoyed your Ducati as well! These are great bikes if you take care of them. The nationality (Italian) scares a lot of people away, but the brave ones get to experience the great bike.
What is bike?
It's a Harley Davidson Night Rod Special
I just received my vitpilen 401 2022. How do I activate the quick shifter ? Thanks!
Hi Hisham, I don't think it needs activation. Just kick the lever and hope for the best!
The finding neutral is common on the Svart and Vit. As you mentioned they are the same as the Duke they also have the issue. I’ve had mine for 6 days, first two days I struggled, now I’m used to it.
Thanks for info. Some say you can adjust the shift lever to remove the issue. Cheers
I have the same bike. Voltage regulator went at around 11k. Now coolant leaking a little
Thanks for the comment. That sucks! Hopefully no more issues from here on forward.
This is a fantastic way to dress up the back of my Bolt SUV! Thank you for showing us this. I just ordered one for my 2022 in white. So, when are you going to replace the bowtie with a break light bowtie?
Thank you sir, your order will be there in no time. And the brake light bowtie is actually a fantastic idea! I'll look into it for sure.
Had a bike as a teen, not a hog.. their too loud and you need earplugs! lol
Hope you enjoyed your bike brother! Yea I'll quiet her down soon.
Bike owner here, really cool to see the bike being enjoyed! Thanks for the awesome review 🎉
Thank you Hoa you're great!
I think that might be the first time I could almost mistake a bike for a V8. Sounds nice! Get some rolling clips
Thank you sir. Sure thing, great suggestion.
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks bro appreciate you.
I have ordered this in grey and am waiting for it. My car is dark grey and I hope that it matches
Thanks, Your order will be shipped on Monday. So the color match won't be 100% since the exact color combo is proprietary to GM. Even on the silver if you look carefully the GM paint has a bit of gold flaking that the wrap cannot match.
@@ataexpo3886I just received it and I will send you a picture when I'm done. The color is close so it should be fine. I have a couple of busy weeks coming up so it may take some time. Take care, Tony Renier
@@trenier23 Great to hear from you sir! and am glad the color match is close. yea I would love to see it on your car. Take care Tony. -Amin
Very nice. In my opinion this era 998 series. Are the most beautiful bikes ever made. Way more beautiful than the current models.
998 was definitely a revolutionary and amazing design.
I like the way these look online, but was riding next to one the other day and find them weird looking (maybe not in a good way) in person. Definitely check them out in person before drooling over them online.
To me, the bike looked great in person as well, but it's subjective, so definitely check it out in person before buying.
Motorcycle choice is very subjective very. I personally think fully faired sportbikes look weird. But I think the Svartpilen is one of the coolest looking bikes in it's class.
I've had the Svartpilen since mid-April. Finding neutral was an issue at first. I adjusted the shift lever position and that resolved the issue. I can easily find neutral now.
Thanks for the clarification. I'm sure if you make a video on how to adjust the lever it can help other owners.
@@ataexpo3886 Tru, maybe I'll do it later today or tomorrow.
@@HA_Horizons Sounds good, leave a link to your video here and I'll pin it.
@@ataexpo3886 I made a video, I'm not so great at making videos yet so the production isn't great, and didn't actually show doing the adjustments because it was hard to do while recording at the same time. ua-cam.com/video/OEV6_Ej6qcw/v-deo.html I also show adjusting the brake/clutch levers.
@@HA_Horizons Video looks good brother we're both new and still learning no worries. Just pinned your comment so it's highlighted. Will appreciate it if you subscribe to my channel!
Wish I could see it better. Can you do another video showing off the final results from different angles? This video just ends as soon as you finished applying the wrap, thanks.
Thanks for the great comment, I just added more photos and a short video with different angles to the eBay link in the video description.
@@ataexpo3886 The additional photos and video are appreciated, thanks.
I have the same bile brother with A LOT of upgrades and on twisties its a fuking beast with managable power I tracked it twice and it worked flawless but after that the bearings inside the head were the timing belt goes through broke in lots of pieces and cost me a good amount to replace all of them , new timing belts etc. My bile has 23k KM on it othet than that reliable and awesome to ride
Man am sorry you experienced that. Was your bike up to date with valve clearance and timing belt service? (the big service every 7,500miles)
I am a huge fan of Ducati pre-tech and excess. My current fav Ducati bike is the Scrambler lol because it's just a fun purist bike to romp around on and looks great- love the 848's because they're the last the of the old school thought process going back to the 916 big v-twin sport bike with sexy lines.... never been into the Panigale's and TBH Ducati's always some kind of design flaw that make it slightly inferior performance wise to a comparable top of line Japanese bike but what makes the older gen ones so cool is the character and handling characteristics. They turn in so damn good and you feel so alive riding the bikes. I'd love to have an 848, 748 or 996/8 in my garage if I could find a nice deal on one-- 916 line obv overpriced collectors but the others sometimes pop up at a reasonable price.
Couldn't agree more man new tech and design have taken away the soul that raw-powered and pre-tech bikes had. and yes, It can be hard to find a good deal on them, imo try to find one with relatively higher mileage but good maintenance records. Cheers.
Which screws did you get? Are they aluminum?
No just plastic from AliExpress hahaha. Holds up well, but can get rounded easily if you over-tighten it. Cheers.
Stumbled upon your video and couldn’t agree more that 848’s are great bikes. I’ve had mine since 2011, done some touring on it, went from 3600 miles to over 32,000 miles and the only thing that’s needed fixing was a voltage regulator. Like you said, maintenance is key.
Appreciate your comment brother. Glad to hear you also had a great experience with your bike, we're definitely lucky to experience this amazing machine. Ride safe.
Thank you for the input. I feel more comfortable purchasing the bike.
Thank you! It is helpful. I am just going to buy one in a couple of days.
Enjoy the bike brother. I sold mine and miss it now!
@@ataexpo3886 thank you! I will sell it as well to buy a nice car, but I enjoy it now.
Is the zero maintenance because this bike has zero electronics and rider aid on it? I'm planning to buy one..2010 evo stealth..i was only wondering about the maintenance
I never said zero maintenance, I said zero fixing since nothing ever broke down. Proper maintenance is key for any long-lasting machine. But yes, it's simple as you said, no advanced electronics, rider aid, or other complicated things that break down. The only unusual/big-ticket maintenance you should worry about is valve adjustment. Make sure to get a bike that has FULL-service maintenance on 7,500 miles and 15,000 miles. This bike can last forever if it's loved! Definitely recommend it.
I do want to sell my bike. Email me if interested and we'll talk further: mae3831@rit.edu
@@ataexpo3886 thanks a ton for the advice man, btw I'm pretty sure we ain't in the same country for me to pick up your bike!
@@ASJacob the services with belt anf valve clearance are absolutely key. And dont buy a tracked bike other than that 848 evo engines are reliable you could also check a 1098 same thing 1198 i would avoid because of the thin cylinder walls
#ducati
The “undesirable” termi sounds much better than the full system in my opinion, It has more bass, much deeper sound, the one you have it’s more towards mid notes , and race flow and sound, more screamy
Thanks for the good info. I like the screamy sound, but always wondered how they'd compare, now I know! cheers.
