@carsandchrome I am curious why the plaque changed. It was built by Dominator Street Rods and use to say that, but it changed to Ron Morlan, who was the foreman at Dominator. Maybe a fallout at some point. But thanks for the awesome video. That car was painted in 2013. Still looks amazing.

Thanks for the compliment! Sounds like you have quite a dilemma on your hands. Both of your el Camino's sound like great vehicles to me! The 68 has the manual trans and the 327 which can certainly be built up pretty nice. While the big block 454 SS is pretty sweet also! Both fantastic! I have been in your situation before, I had a 64 Malibu convertible, my 68 el Camino SS and a 69 Corvette convertible all at the same time. They were all daily driver quality and in fairly nice condition, all California cars. The 64 had a 396 big block that someone dropped in, with a power glide trans, the 68 el Camino you already know about, and the 69 Corvette had a 300hp 350 with an auto trans. The cost to own all of them was getting expensive at my young age of around 31, so I had to start selling a couple of them off over a period of time. I still have the 1968 el Camino SS after all these years. If you absolutely have to sell one, I would sell the 68 and keep the 71 SS.
