25 October 2024 Paul Mwazha of Africa, known as Mudzidzisi turns 106 years Born in the pandemic years of atomic gases exploded during the World War 1, Mwazha was exposed to the serious repacursions of the war, the Spanish flue/ influenza. As a result of this Spanish flue, he died few days of his neonatal stage, few days after given birth by Saramina his Mother in 1918. He verbally shared his birth and death history as follows. "I was born a catholic Christian and after my birth, I died of influenza and as a Roman catholic custom, I was taken to the Jesuit community home to be benedicted by the Priest before my barrial, who was originally from Germany whose name was Father Emilio Smith." Fusing African traditional norm with Roman catholic custom, the deceased Paul was supposed to be barried along the river banks immediately after the Priest's benediction. Fortunately a miracle happened in the house of Yahweh which was served by Jesuit Emilio, while proclaiming the trinity *"The name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit"* during the benediction process; the house was filled with the holy spirit and every brother and sister who were in the community present on the scene shouted "*Mwana waMutsirwe basa, Mwana waMutsirwe basa, Mwana waMutsirwe basa*" then the child resurrected from the dead. This marked the divine calling of Mudzidzisi. He grew in the present of Yahweh; devoted to God. Taught catechism by his Grandfather Nyamayedenga.(this included, the history of the catholic, sacraments; devotion and scriptures). His orientation; commitment and dedication to this catechism renewed honor in his spiritual realm. Going to Masvaure primary school with the quest to know God was an added advantage to his spiritual journey. He founded favour from God throughout his life, having countless encounters with Jesus and living a life escorted with favour from the community he lived. He won the bursary that helped him access education which was expensive especially to the black majority without means of production. To the ministry, Paul was born with the calling as aforementioned, in 1951 he was then called to serve as a messenger of God which weaved the foundation of this African Apostolic based faith. He then heard the word of God saying The African Apostolic Church in 1957 which ultimately became the name of his founded church in 1959. Through faith shared in this pivotal phase of life 1959-2024 we have witnessed a plethora of testimonies in the lives of many people both Africans and Non Africans. The blind have been restored to sight, the deaf have been made to hear again and the barrens are conceiving and bearing children. Today the world comes together to celebrate the long living chosen man of God, turning 106 years of living. May God save the Priest.
