Kona Wozo 2019 Fat Bike Overview
Переглядів 7 тис.6 років тому
The Wozo takes Fat Bike stereotypes and tosses them out the window. Sure, it’s great to ride in typical Fat Bike conditions, but it also rips on singletrack and with those big old Maxxis tires, traction is paramount and bumps dissolve with ease. We’ve moved the Wozo to 27.5” wheels and beefed up the travel from 100mm to 120mm with a Manitou Mastodon Comp fork. This gives you an even plusher fee...

Kona Process Carbon G2 153 29er 2018 Review
Переглядів 12 тис.7 років тому
You asked for a Kona Process 153 29er Carbon at Bicycle Express in Vermont and we made it. After many customers asking and wanting a carbon 29er Process we wanted to see how it works. We put in 29" wheels in the Kona 27.5 and made some changes to make it work. Plenty of tire clearance up to a 2.35. BB height 13.8 and 65 HT Angle. Look further for a long term review. Got any questions give our s...
Kona WOZO FAT Bike 2018 Review
Переглядів 25 тис.7 років тому
Whoever said fat bikes weren’t for trail riding obviously hasn’t ridden a Wozo. With a RockShox Bluto suspension fork, a SRAM 11-speed drivetrain, Maxxis Minion FBF and FBR tires, and geometry inspired by our legendary Honzo hardtails, the Wozo is far from your average fat bike. At Bicycle Express in Vermont we feel this is the perfect Fat bike that can be used all year. It's a well balanced an...

Weird sizing 55 is an xl ??
NOT A REVIEW
Pf or threaded BB?
Have you guys added a fox 36 140mm?
Trail?
It was a tough day. Good video! I hope you all did well and enjoyed the prairie.
Great vid...looking forward to hearing all about the race. Good luck!
So Psyched for you folks! You make us PROUD!!!
What's the deal with the Ultegra brake lever upgrade? The bike I saw at the LBS had 105 levers.
Nothing wrong with 105, son! ✌🏻
So good the guy in the video bailed and went riding mid way through the video
flip the visor up and glasses fit on the front just fine.
Really? I'm going to test it as soon as I get home! Thanks
177 rear spacing and 100mm travel fork
I wish these guys would do proper research before posting things like this. This video is misinformation 😒
I like the bike but the guy has to gooo !!!
aome butcher reviewing a bike😁😁 but the cut was nice
Good review, thank you for pointing out the fit/head shape!
I like your the video I hope yuo like our posts and you can subscribe too 🙏❤️
Is it good for roads? I mostly ride on roads and I like its uniqueness so should I buy one fat bike or not?
No, unless you like putting out a lot of energy compared to riding on much narrower tires. The fat bike is best off pavement. Instead, look at a Kona Rove.
Ok thanks
Sweet, nice to see the 2019 Wozo! I love my 2018 model :-)
Very nice bike kona is my favorite mtb brand.
I know the 29er is officially out, but I have a 27.5 carbon and just trashed my rear wheel. Any word on long term review of this set up?
Appreciate the round and oval fitment comment. As a round-headed person, it’s extremely useful!
Picking up the Kona Process 153 AL this Saturday!!!!
I bet you weren't disappointed either,
Carl Browitt Actually I was. The drive train was junk. I kept bending the cassette. 3 in 2 months. Switched to the SantaCruz Megatower with XO1 DT. Now that’s a mint bike I’m not disappointed with. I absolutely love my SC.
Quero ter uma desa
Greattttt review 👍. 03:50 put it is the dishwasher? 🤔
dishwasher sterilizes
Great helmet review!
Is this large size, what we can see?
This is a size Large.
Mind if i ask a question? how well does this Bike handle on fox suspension? i know your 29er Frankenstein uses a fox 36 and a dpx2 rear shock, just curious how it rides on fox? I am a die hard fox fan, so i am curious how it compares to the standard rock shox set up.
The bike rides great with the Fox. I find the Fox feels sturdier and works better for long decent with heat. I do prefer fox. Call the shop if you want to chat more!
thanks for the reply, i would love to ring you and have a chat but i am in australia... so different time zones and long distance phone call costs make it hard, but yeah i managed to get lucky and got a hold of one of these black steeds not that long ago, Australia got really low amounts of the carbon models so i am really glad i managed to get a hold of one in my size!, I absolutely love it! awesome bike, also already got some shiny orange forks and a dpx2 on order so it will be really interesting to see how it compares.
Great video! I'd like to see a video on the process 165. I'm thinking of buying one mid season. I don't live to far away. Montreal ;-)
Give us a call! Will help you get on one for sure!
Let us know. We can get you the best bike and price!
Please make a video with someone riding the bike. Thanks.
Nice bike, I have these Sram Brakes on my 2017 Sasquatch and they make squeak noises all the time which is extremely annoying. Apparently it can be solved by replacing the pads for another brand but I haven t tried it yet. Otherwise very interesting bike.
how was this a review?
Where are you located? Make it easy for me (and us.)
4.8s definitely fit in the rear. This has been known for quite some time.
Would this void warranty? I know that changing the length of the fork can often void warranty, but does changing wheel size or shock bushings also void warranty?
My dream bike..
Love that you did this before Kona
Great Build! I have heard the low BB complaint from many in the NE riding. Glad you guys are innovating to solve your local problems! I was on my way to Konaworld while watching this to confirm this as a new model lol
Go
I clicked on this video just to be a smartass and say the process 153 doesn't come in the 29er flavor, but this is super rad.
nice review,i have a kona also!!
Looks like an awesome ride!! Thanks for sharing :-)
Yeah, the Kona Process 153 29 AL is pretty rad. Crazy amount of travel and pedaling platform feels like a hardtail
Can you guys do a ride review of the bike? There isn’t to much on this bike out there! Thanks :D
What about tyre clearance at full travel? It must buzz the seatube? Especially with the offset bush No?
At full travel no rubbing. We lowered it so it was more balanced. The BB was 14.3 at 160. But no rubbing with our without the bushing no matter the front travel. We have one here at the shop with a 160mm. 150 rides better.
Bicycle Express wow that's unexpected. Do you have a proper 29er 153 there do they share the same rear end? I did see the chainstays length was the same for both bikes. There is a carbon 29er coming in May. Think a little play with some 29 wheels and the only CR DL in the UK might be in order tomorrow 😎
Bicycle Express watching again I think the clearance on that seatstay bridge isn't enough for UK mud 🤣
Seatstay and Chainstays are the same on the 29er alloy and carbon 27.5 so clearance is the same. Yes new carbon coming in May but why wait... We have to much fun playing with bikes.
Hold up is there a real carbon process 29 coming may 2018
Very interesting !!!
I take it that's a 29er fork youve got up front
Yes. Fox Factory 29er 150mm travel.
