As soon as you hit your shot, you need to be split stepping. This will prepare you for your next shot. You're hitting really great shots that set you up for the win, but you're watching your good shot for too long. Hit your good shot and prepare your footwork to finish the point. Remember this golden rule: down the line, approach the net; crosscourt and you stay back. Wish ya the best of luck out there. You have really great intuition! and I think some great talent. Keep it up!
The boy has good timibg on his bavkhand, but he needs to start his swing for the forehand a bit faster. He should get out of the habit of waiting for balls to drop.
Good serve! I often wonder why, when practicing their serve, so many tennis players always seem to be in a great hurry. I think this young lady should be encouraged to take her time, and to reflect for a few seconds before each serve.
solid backhand, and forehand, but it seems like ure off balance when you hit the high bouncing balls on ur forehand, try to step back and plant your feet more before you make contact so the ball is a bit lower and more in your strike zone. This also helps you step into the shot instead of leaning backwards and losing momentum on your swings. Try to keep eye contact with the ball even as you make contact with the ball to get a better look at how your racket is touching the ball too! Solid player you are!
Came across this video by accident. Really enjoyed it. I think this young lady is well on her way to becoming a very good tennis player. Lovely backhand! All she has to do is play three or four times a week, and It will all fall into place... 😊
@@christellet3922 you are welcome! Volleys are a VERY powerful weapon. If you are good at the net, you have a big advantage over others that play mostly from the base line. 💪
Nice, good starting point. Just need a lot of little tweaks to develop a really good serve. Try to work on tossing the ball more to your left right above the shoulder so you can make contact with the racquet at an angle, instead of pointing straight up. You also drag your arm too much instead of pronating. ua-cam.com/video/3ZBIaIremP0/v-deo.html
That wide stride of the back leg on her serve is problematic. Stability and contact point issues, hence her faults. A person of taller stature and strength can make that technique work, but this sets her up for failure to even get into the point.
Hitting off 2 bounces, hitting the net, and low intensity with footwork is such a shame to see. As well as the attitude. A mentally stronger opponent will have already won the match. I wouldn't accept him as a student. Uncoachable.
Yup, that's full western. He's gonna get crushed on fast courts. Lazy and uncoachable attitude as well. Such a shame. 🤦🏻♂️ I'd increase his grip size to prevent slipping back to full western and take away tennis for a week everytime he talks back. Good luck.
👍👍❤❤
Amazing video! Can't wait to see more future content coming from you. Keep up the hard work 😄
Thank you! Will do!

I play tennis lefty as well.
That Lefty forehand is looking good!

The boy strikes the ball better, but the girl is significantly better at moving

So many sorrys 😭😭
Good footwork! The wrist drop on the forehand is a little early. Keep at it 👍
thank you so much for the tip! I've been feeling pretty unstable on my forehand so thats probably the reason why :)
Pushers
Once you go to the net, you are not allowed to go back. Learn how to hit a volley!
thank you for the tip!

Thanks, totally agreed, I will show him your comments and hopefully it will change his attitude.

Love her intensity and looking to be inside the baseline for weak replies.
There is no love for tennis in him. Advise not to invest anymore money and time. Still has time to find the correct passion for himself.

Nice! Do you play in USTA tournaments?
Hmm, people crossing a street. I can see that in my twin too. Why
