Nice video I moved to Oslo recently from the uk its a beautiful city and I like how you rate everything 10/10 😂and the video quality is top class 10/10
this looks super fun! might have to check it out someday!!
why does this only have 39 likes????
Cuz the internet sucks
Prob bc algorithm stuff, it has way more now though.
I've lived in Japan for 8 years and every time I visit, I must go to ichiran. It's the greatest Ramen I've we've had. Each bowl is like heaven.
Ramen in Japan is just different. So satisfying.
My first time seeing this channel but I already love this man
When we went we waited an hour to get in!!! I guess I should have taken advantage of Jett lag and gone at 4 am too!
lol I was wide awake and noticed they were open 24/7. I heard how crazy the line gets, so I figured I’d just go right then and there!
Bro you’re in Tokyo why would you go to a chain😭this is like being in New York City and going to dominoes or Pizza Hut when there’s a million godlike local restaurants ran by real Italians that make infinitely better pizza
A: It’s more like going to a local pizza chain like Deninos in NY. Or like going to In-N-out in California for a burger. Hortons in Canada, etc. and I’m fine with that 😊 B: it was open the only ramen shop open at 4 am C: It wasn’t the only ramen I had
No, not like that at all. You mad when people go to 7/11 or McDonald’s in Japan too? lol it’s part of the experience
They have this in NYC the BEST!!!
Wish we had it here
What month were you there and it was already 34 degrees at night?
We were there late March. We were aware of how cold it was going to be while we were there during that time but we just didn’t think ahead that first night lol didn’t make that mistake again !
Excellent and very informative video, going Oslo next week so will definitely have to check out some of these spots.
Thank you! I hope you have a great time. We loved the city
A fortress main goal is to protect the people living around it, not just the royals. After all the royals are nothing without all the people who tend to their needs, and the people who pay taxes, like sales and artisans.
It’s not an English Castle, so it’s different. 🤷🏻♂️The plaques around there, the official website, and the tour guides specifically said it was to protect the royals. It’s not a fortress in the traditional sense
@@DavidsDestinations Well, I live in this city and Akershus fortress has the same functions as a normal fortress. All fortresses, or almost all has accommodations for family and soldiers. When Akershus Fortress was rebuilt and expanded by Christian 4 in the 1500, the hole town of Oslo was moved from Bjørvika to Kvadraturen. The intention has always been made clear it was to protect the city against the Swedes. The reason it was built on that hilltop originally was naturally to take advantage of the steep sides of the mountain already there. It has probably been a defensive structure on that hilltop as long as people has lived in this delta area.

Loved this video! Very informative, great commentary, well produced, getting me excited for my own trip to Oslo in a few weeks time! Great job! 👏🏻
It was a lot of work putting it together. I’m glad you enjoyed it! I hope you have a great time when you go!
Oslo has a toooon of burger joints, Norway in general i guess, a trend kind of started around 5 years ago
@@4211234 yeah! I was kind of surprised at all the burger options. I had seen a video highlighting a few of the spots, so when we ran into dognville we thought it was fate and decided to check them out
Cool🎉 Lets be friends🫶🏼
@@LilyTraveling I’m down

My thought when I counted the museums lol hence why I had to add the clip lol
You get a 10 out of 10! You get a 10 out of 10! Everybody gets a 10 out of 10!!!!!! Including this video🙌🏽

WHAT A FUN VID! I need to go to Vancouver :') Also, I surprised laughed at the "NYEH" appearance
It def. threw some people off lol
