Tú ag Iarraidh Mé a Ghortú? le Buachaill Seoirse ;)
Liricí
Tabhair dom am mo choir a aimsiú. Goid is grá? ‘Cead ‘am…
Dhamhsaigh mé istigh id’ shúile. Conas mé ‘bheith ann?
Curfá 1
‘Tú ag iarraidh mé a ghortú? Tú ag iarraidh mé a chur ag gol?
Póigíní ‘s focail do mo chrá anois. Ní iarrann leannáin riamh cén fáth.
1. I mo chroí tá tine ag dó. Aimsigh réalt. Roghnaigh an t-ór.
Insíonn daoine atá nósach [dom]: Seo’d anois, sin céim thar fóir.
Curfá 2
‘Tú ag iarraidh mé a ghortú? ‘Tú ag iarraidh mé a chur ag gol? X2
2. Ní mó focail atá ráite. Míle bliain caite gan treo.
Sáite i mbrón, níl ciall ag tada. Tar isteach is tóg mo dheor’
3. Tú ag caint is caint ach creid mé, más fíor é nach bhfuil ‘fhios ‘at grá.
Níl cúis ‘amsa le bheith i ngrá leat, Mé réidh anois le slán a rá.
4. Más grá ‘tá uait is tú liomsa, bhuel tóg leat é gan stró.
Ní fheiceann tú gach rud atá ann. Muid ag scaradh anois, ochón.

GRMA Gwen, ceapaim is ea "seasta" in ait "feasta" agus "ar nos fainleog" in ait "fan leo"
Mo mhúinteoir!
This sounds like my teacher!
Déanfaidh mé iarracht na focla a scríobh síos anseo... I reilig cois cladaigh tá mise i mo sheasamh ag cur slán leis na mairbh atá sínte sa gcré A gcuid ainmneachaí greanta ar leacrachaí glasa tagann na deora [ar] mo ghrua 'is iad deacair le léamh Tá trí oileán Árann mar féirlí sa taoille Is ? do na haoibhneas a ghortú mo chroí. Dá mbeadh breith agam ar m'aiféala Ó ní fhágfainnse choíche Ach ní tig leis an áilleacht An morgáiste a íoc Shíl mé go brách brách nach bhfilleadh an lá seo Nuair a ruaigeadh an ghanntan mé amach as an tír Níor tharla sé cheana ó bhí mise i mo pháiste Nuair a d'imíodh mo dheaide anonn ar an mbeet Beidh mo bhean is na gasúir ag téannadh liom feasta? Níl fanta san áit seo ach cnámh go deo deo Cuirfear glas ar mo dhoras Ar maidin amárach Is ní fheicfidh mé Éire arís le mo ló Mo sheacht míle mallacht a fhágaim mar bheannacht Ag an dream a bhí i gceannas mar rinne siad feall Buachaillí báire gan scrupail gan náire Ach a ruaigeann na mílte go dtí íochtar an domhain. Ó cloisim na mairbh ag iarr orm fanacht Sheas siadsan an talamh le os cionn míle bliain Ach is gearr go mbeadh preacháin san áit a mbíodh deatach Ní bheidh fios ag lucht ceannais gur mhair siad ariamh Fascnamh? gach maidin a osclóidh? os mo shúile Go mbeidh síos ar mo ghlúine ag súil le mac Dé Go mbeinn ar nós fan leo ag triail ar mo dhúchas Gur anseo cois na mara a bheadh mo chnámha sa gcré Feicim trí oileán Árann mar féirlí sa taoille Is driú? do na haoibhnis a ghortú mo chroí. Dá mbeadh breith agam ar m'aiféala Ó ní fhágfainnse choíche Ach ní tig leis an áilleacht An morgáiste a íoc Dá mbeadh breith agam ar m'aiféala Ó ní fhágfainnse choíche Ach ní tig leis an áilleacht An morgáiste a íoc

Go raibh maith agat a chara. Amhrán álainn le fear uasal a chailleamar róluath.
John Spillane wrote this song. He used to sing this with Nomos in the 90s. I'm sure it was the first of John's songs I heard and was blown away.
Thank you I love these Japanese for Everyone dialogues and listening exercises, they are very helpful in the classroom too!

Hi. Where can we find audio for the lessons? I found audio only for lessons 1 to 13. The audios for the other lessons, where can we find them?
Recently, Joni Mitchell herself a honorable member of the audience at this performance, has stated that this cover is one she enjoyed.
where did you hear she was at this performance?

Does anyone know if there's another version out there? Because she definitely sings another verse in the Swell Season movie and I love that version!
