Clarence and Roger were incredible together. I saw them a few months earlier at the Fillmore East and they opened the concert with this song.

The Bijou Cafe was a rather small club on Lombard st , nor far from City Hall and Center City , Philadelphia. 50 yrs ago I read about some name player who died from a drug overdose and then whose body was burned in the Joshua desert- much like a Viking Funeral without the body of water! So Gram, 50 years ago, you left us in bright flames of glory, never again to roam the streets of Baltimore....

I saw this solo tour at the Rainbow Music Hall in Denver. She played 2 shows that night, the first sold out and the second had about 300 people so we all were right up front. Christine didn't mind at all and played her a** off. Her band was excellent with Todd Sharpe (Bob Welch, etc.) on guitar and a young, thin Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty) on drums. Such a great show and the 300 that were there went ballistic. Chris really enjoyed it and a night I'll never forget.

Clarence White alive ! There are not so many videos of him, pity. Even on this one he only appears a few seconds. This live in Paris in 1971, I was there! But I was too young. Still glad to see this video. Thanks
