Coaching runs deep in the Skipper family, and Tim is no exception. Following in the footsteps of his father, Jim, a seasoned NCAA and NFL assistant coach, and his brother, Kelly, a former Fresno State standout and current NFL assistant coach, Tim has carved his own path in the coaching world. After a remarkable playing career at Fresno State, where he defied expectations as the smallest D1 line...

For the third time in the season, both Aaron Craver and Myron Jones rushed for over 100 yards, as FSU scored 28 points in the first half to put the game out of reach early. With his 132 yards on 13 carries, Craver's season total rose to 1,193, which broke the FSU single-season rushing record of 1,111 yards set by James Williams in 1985. Receiver/punt returner Dwight Pickens, ranked fourth in th...

Forget a jersey retirement, at Fresno State, #22 is a legacy. From the darting Darrell Rosette to Lorenzo Neal to Rodney Davis to Wendell Mathis to Anthony Harding to Malik Sherrod, this number has housed a dynasty of running backs who embodied both speed and "ground and pound." Witness the explosive speed, punishing runs, and pure Fresno grit that made these Bulldogs legends.

1996 Fresno State vs. Oregon
Переглядів 1,1 тис.Рік тому
The 1996 NCAA Football game between Fresno State and Oregon was a historic one, as it was the first game to be played under the current overtime rules. Though the Dogs dominated time of possession with their running, game, untimely turnovers and penalties kept the Ducks in the game enought to force overtime. The game was tied at 24-24 at the end of regulation. In the first overtime, Fresno Stat...

Thanks for shedding light on my dad 🔥
16:26 Would be pretty cool to have a similar result against New Mexico this week
Always nice to hand Hawaii their grass skirts to them in this fashion !
Looked like a great time to turn around a season with a blowout victory at home
Haener still there?
@@1PickJesushe's currently the backup QB for the Saints
This is cool! Do you happen to have the full game? Love to see more Bulldogs hoops from this era.
My hero from Vallejo, he taught me how to run the high hurdles, he was a phenomenal brother, who I was blessed to have met, he comes from a great family and we will always love you Shell, Slim
This why Michigan won’t come to Fresno
do you have copy of the whole game?
Not the entire game. Missing last Spartan TD to win 20-16
Rip to my brother Rolando todd 😢❤
Glory glory man united
RIP Marque Davis
I have no words for what we just saw! :-)
That introduction was so classic!
That was a fun watch and amazing compellation. I miss those Dogs! Jim Sweeny, Pat Hill, Jeff Tedford, Stephon Paige, Kevin Sweeny, Stephen Baker the touchdown maker, Mark Barsotti, Ron Cox, Marquez Pope, Aaron Craver, J.D Williams, Zack Rix, Ron Rivers, Lo Neal, Anthony Daigle Trent Dilfer, David Dunn, Charlie Jones, , Derrick Ward, Paris Gains, David Carr, Bernard Berrian, Logan Mankins, Rodney Wright, Cam Worrell, Nick Burley, Bryce McGill, Paul Pinegar, James Saunders, Guy McIntyre, Dee Meza, Rodney Davis, Marlon Moore, Clifton Smith, Bear Pascoe, Marcus Riley, KeeSuan Johnson, Ronnie Rivers!
Awesome footage man. I think I was at that game
I was at the game!!!! Damn that kicker for us was fucking trash!!!
A couple of years later the BULLDOGS shocked the country in 2001 after beating the BEAVERS @ home.
Pre-2000=Mark, Kent/Kurt, Kyle, Sean Kafentzis. Post 2010=Landon & Tyson Kafentzis. Mix that in w/Niko, Pete & Al Noga. Those are Legacies to build on! BTW...Did i forget anybody?-lol
This was 2 years before Fresno got Aaron Judge too, so imagine we would’ve played a freshman Aaron Judge, would’ve been impossible
Anybody Anywhere Anytime!!! CARR-NATION!!! GO-DOGS!!! Next stop Michigan Wolverines 2024
One of the greatest sports stories of all time. Fresno State had even lost their best pitcher that year
Out of the handful of Fresno State Bulldog baseball players playing in the MLB Justin Wilson is one of them. Whatever happened to some of these hitters that played for Fresno State in this World Series Final game in Susdorf and Detwiler? I’ll never forget this team in the Underdogs to Wonderdogs.
I played minor league baseball, it’s an absolute grind and there are thousands of amazing players in every farm system
Hope Fresno st can become a national player one day. They were on the way but somehow has regressed
Do you happen to have the footage of the WSU v. Drake game on October 27, 1984?
I only have games that involve Fresno State
Ah ok thanks! I keep hitting dead ends trying to find WSU footage from the 80s.
@jimsweeneysgolfcart how did you get all these Fresno games?
I digitized my VHS tapes from the 80s. We recorded them when I was a kid
Good game. Mitch Arnold was on fire hitting just about every shot with a bunch of assists
This was the only team i think that almost beat usc that year. I still to this day dont really treat it like a USC loss to Texas. Mainly because of Bushs lateral that git fumbled in that game. It changed the while complexion of the game. Texas went from getting ran all over to usc having no answer for Vince youngs scrambles
I remember reading in USA Today Sports after Coach Tark passed away that Bill Self said that he went to the Tulsa locker room after the game and praised the team and pretty much said that the Golden Hurricane would go far in the NCAA Tournament if they made it. Sure enough, they did make the tournament and ended up making it to the Elite 8.
Only to lose in the first round of the Tournament to Wisconsin. Good game though at the O'l Selland Arena. Earned my Bachelor's that year!! It truly was March Madness in Fresno!! #CSUFGrad2K!! #GoDogs!💯👏🏿😁🏁
Brandon Burke kicked ass the whole way through from san Diego regionals on as the closer in cant lose games over and over getting called in in 5th inning to close it against best teams anywhere in the country night after night was stressful to watch but he got it done great team and team effott when they needed it someone stepped up
Unique seeing kevin eschenfelder here
No handshakes at the end of the game. Tulsa left the floor.
Where is the halftime show? It was destiny’s child
That’s why I looked for a video like this! I still have my tickets for this game and I know destinys child was there because I was there!
I was there too. I can't find footage of their concert
Classic Dan Belluomini…2:07:38 “HOW DO YA LIKE IT!?!” Lmao he’d say that at least once a game with Ralph Wood on those Fox 26 broadcasts.
Tulsa was soooo good. They could’ve easily been in the Final Four and we beat them three times.
That was a great Tulsa team. Barely missed the Final Four…only lost four times, THREE to Fresno State.
The start of a 10 game win streak for the Bulldogs. Now who else had a 10 game winning streak after 4 losses in 2022? Oh ya, the 49ers. After losing their starting qb too. Makes one go hmmm!
Nate Burleson should’ve been a first round pick after this season!
Facts!
It’s easy for small school prospects to get overlooked. these scouts just need to throw on the tape!
AS THE REDS GO MARCHING ON ON ON
Great tribuite
is there any copy of the entire game of the 2023 New Mexico bowl?
I don’t think any Bulldog fan wants to relive this game 😂
The Dogs won 45-5. You're probably thinking of the New Mexico game a week later where they lost
What is defense?
It is absolutely amazing how the Fresno State Bulldogs and the San Francisco 49ers seasons of success paralleled each other in the 1980s. Almost carbon copies from 1981-1989. They both won their first title in '81(SF)-'82(FS), then both had two off years before winning again in '84(SF)-'85(FS)before both went back to back in '88-'89😮. Jump forward to today. The Doppleganger is back the last two seasons. Last Year: Bulldogs have 4 losses and loose their qb then go on 10 game win streak. 49ers have 4 losses and loose their qb then go on 10 game winning streak. Bulldogs win a championship, 49ers don't. This year both teams win first 5 games. Bulldogs lose to Cowboys while 49ers beat Cowboys same weekend. Bulldogs go on win streak before losing final three games. 49ers lose three in row then go on 6 game win streak to lose one later on. Same pattern of losses just reversed making outcome reversed for 49ers to win championship this year like Bulldogs did last year. I've carried this with me since I first started comparing the Bulldogs and the 49ers back in 1982. Hopefully by telling it here it doesn't upset the vibe but it is something I've noticed about my two favorite football teams over the years. That when their seasons start paralleling each other, they both win championships.😊
Those were the good old days when Pacific and Fresno were great rivals. Anyone from those days can remember that fact.
Another great find
I just love watching these clips ,thanks for doing this !
I was there!
Thank you for uploading this! Would you able to find the Fresno state vs Colorado in 1998?
I'm still looking for a copy of that one. Texas Tech too
That '04 Hawaii game remains the most impressive and dominating 'Dogs game I ever watched.
