I have heard this master tape on a Studer deck in a very high end system. Everyone in the room was floored, absolutely captivated. His vinyl was very good but open reel is another realm. I want this deck!

Just record the sound of DOUBLE BASS on the tape in Analogue method and also to the Digital reorder and play back those recordings. This way one can easily feel the amazing Analogue sound (the sound with soul )

It was an amazing experience for all of us and so fun to meet you. Hope you can get down to MS where this music comes from sometime. Ryan and I can recommend our fave Juke Joint Festival. Hey, Ryan. I think that streaming does have a place in our lives. ( my streaming is a fm tuner) mostly to find new music that we are not going to hear on the radio. I don't think that most audiophiles believe that it is of great sound quality. I also do not think that the average Joe will invest the money needed to hear rtr playback. not to mention the time it takes to set up ,thread a tape , demag, clean heads and everything else. we have become very lazy. now maybe just maybe if recording studio's would start releasing tapes again( rtr tapes) of current bands that as you said are " affordable" then that might spark an interest. cheers Brian.
