Love this. No voice over. Almost damned grade crossing bells. No radio chatter. Just a nice experience seeing and hearing trains to relax to. Thank you.
Awesome catches! Love the EMDs & these tanker trains
This is the finest Trona Video I have seen! Excellent videography.
Talk about awesome scenery! How many trains run on this line?
Nice video!
I have knows about the Trona Railway for a very long time. A few years ago I found out about the Trona Pinnacles. Being a landscape photographer I visited the pinnacles in May on '24 and was surprised to see how close the tracks were to it. Unfortunately there were no trains while I was there but I was glad to see you included them in the video.
A great looking video.
How busy is this sub?
Beautiful scenery
Great video in everyway especially the sounds . My favorite locomotive model SD 40-2 best sounding near and far. Best looking too I don't care for any of the G E units are so boring to look . And the G E prime mover four stroke might be more interesting with individual straight pipe exhaust . But as is to me they boring sounding almost out of tune miss firing lawnmower. The units in this video may need some color they still have great body lines.
The TRC is a shipper-owned short-line railroad consisting of 30.5 miles. They connect with the UP at Searles for all further connections to their customers. Their chemical company owner mines lithium, soda ash, salt cake, potash, borax, boric acid, and anything they can suck out that dry mineral lake. In the past, the air was filled with carcinogens from the chemicals they produced. The whole valley smelled of rotten eggs for decades. The drinking water is unpotable, making it necessary to pump drinking water from the nearby community of Ridgecrest. Now, their water supply is in peril, subject to whatever solutions the local water district decides for solutions. What are the solutions? That's a definite maybe.
We take these model railroads for granted. But they are great pieces of technology.

Great videos, but no audio description of what is being seen or where it is being seen. That would really help a newbie!

EXCELLANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5:15Gets my vote for Horn of the Year.
This is a great video showcasing the variety the area has to offer!
0:45That's a very pleasing sight.
A terrific video. Do you have a list of where you filmed? Thanks
That was really cool! Some hidden gems in that one! (Dave).
I just started modeling FWWR and am trying to do research on the industries they service and so what kinds of rolling stock their consists typically consist of. So far I’m tracking milling and some chemical companies, so maybe mostly hoppers and tank cars? You wouldn’t know by any chance would you?

Great video again. Always love watching❤
Cool video and captures. Enjoyed watching and have a wonderful rest of your weekend. Steve

Great heritage catches awesome chase and nice video
My home in the 60's and 70's ♥
And how come it’s only the 4320’s are only doing passenger cause in Anchorage I don’t see any freight coming
There are no trains like the Ontario Northland trains.
The last B&O locomotive known as CSX #8595 is in extreme danger. It was sold to LTEX by mistake. It was never meant to go there, it was supposed to be donated to the B&O Railroad Museum of Baltimore. CSX #8595 might soon be scrapped if no action is taken. #SaveCSX8595akathelastBaltimoreandOhiolocomotive
Hello from Bjorn in Orkdal in the Middle of Norway, I like the Alaskan nature very mutch.
More incredible footage making me want to go back! Thumbs up from me!
First time I’ve ever watched rail-fanning in Alaska - may as well be you - awesome!
The perfect shot for a thumbnail 7:55! I want to ride the Alaska Railroad so bad!
Great video again and I loved seeing it because I experienced it when I went to beautiful Alaska❤❤❤❤
Hope everyone gets a chance to visit this awesome place❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Very nicely done video production, quite the railroad! I really enjoyed that! (Dave).
I didn’t know the ARR ran with DPU operations. Very cool.
Very nice! Thanks for sharing. Alaska has breathtaking scenery; the snow capped mountains are beautiful.. I was stationed at ft. Richardson in the 1980’s & the Alaska R.R. Delivered fuel oil to the tank farm on post & also delivered coal to the steam plant.
Extremely enjoyable video of a beloved Railroad! A friend gave me her Jean Jacket from that Railroad, just before she died❤️
3:52 I have 6160 in ho scale
Awesome trip well done video
Incredible action! Making me want to go back next summer...
Amazing Video of The Alaska Railroad, I Enjoyed Watching Every Second of It And I Especially Loved the 3006, Keep Up The Good Work!
What is that bell on 3006 and is ARR rebuilding and renumbering there SD70MACs?
As for the bell on 3006 if I remember right it has a prime E-Bell of some sort

What a great video!!! Loved watching it👍.
The St. Maries did what the Milwaukee was too dumb and inept to do; use their Pacific Extension mainline and make a profit. BN bought huge chunks of the Milwaukee main, and they're still turning profits on them. Milwaukee Road: one of the most poorly managed railroads in history.
Aren't those "big chunks" of the Milwaukee Road purchased by the BN in South Dakota?
What engine is this K5L off of ?
