Yes!!! New content with the newest GOAT homegrown Jay Fortune!!!
Thanks for watching Sonny!
Always gentlemen!!! Thank you for the amazing consistent content! 🙏
Hire Rob you cowards!
Nah not yet
@@hfdgsjhdagfh Tata himself couldn't have done more than Rob if he had taken over just as we sold all our best players and rotated through injuries with an already defeated team and toxic locker room.
Rob for HC 2025 🙏
Amazing episode to the BEST PODCAST in the multiverse!!!
I was happy afterwards like last year I was to play Orlando in the playoffs but the crew ruined that plan and now I’m trill to get the derby
shoutout to derrick gaddis for predicting ATL 3-2
I bet on my ATL United to beat Messi. It was purely on emotions than logic .... and won!!!!🎉😂😊😊😊😊
You were right!
Nah I agree on Rob if we make it to the finals we seriously need to consider him for the job, but emotions aside I still think we continue the search
I’ve come around on Rob. Give him the job.
15:37 “Against either NYCFC or Inter Miami” 🤦🏾♂️
In fairness, it was a crazy night 😂
@@scarvesandspikes Wonder if Tyler or Henry noticed though 😬
Thanks!
Thanks so much! We appreciate your support!
🎉🎉🎉
I've always complained about Miami defense since Messi arriving, but Tata and the management made it worse by not signing great defenders.
That was ultimately the downfall, too
Henry playoff stache is looking good😂
😂
Yall need to calm down. lol Why are we even discussing next manager at this point? If Atlanta gets run over by Miami is sentiment going to suddenly do a 180? Just let Rob and the team do what they're going to do and have that discussion later.
It would be foolish not to have the discussion now...now more than ever, it's a real possibility.
Henry needs to stop talking crap and pay more respect - saying "Messi who? " - Messi scored in the 3rd game and carried Miami the whole season to the Supporters shield. What has Atlanta accomplished this season - nothing .. Messi has more talent than the whole Atlanta team . get over yourself dumb ass
Hey guys! Look, I found the butt hurt miami fan🤣🤣 have a fun off-season
Wow .. must have struck a nerve .. good luck pussy boy rebuilding the worst team in the east 😢😢
@@elmeraglubat Pessi fan boy detected. Go cry somewhere else. 😂😂😂😂
You can tell these dudes are playoff watching foreigners. The "worst team in the east" doesn't make the playoffs, dumbass. Stick to watching highlight reels on UA-cam.
Please call him by his full name. The Road Warrior Rob Valentino.
Orlando vs Atlanta here we go
Vamos
Win!!!!!
Fart
wow
Agreed.
🇦🇴🇦🇴🇦🇴
Atalanta was saved coz of home support n turf which suited them well. N don't forget busi was not their In Florida buzan saved as well n we doubt it will happen in Florida again. Messi was uncomfortable on turf n the rest too. Watch out for Miami in chase stadium. It will be a cracker
Same Chase stadium where we beat them 3-1 earlier this season?? Should be a good one.
@AndrewS765 u r right but don't forget leagues cup'23 thrashing of 4/0 by Miami. Anyways Atalanta r good but Miami is a better team.
5 stripes got the job done last night we forced game 3 with a 2-1 win
Let's gooooooooooooo
@ and the dawgs hawks and falcons both won
4-3 ATL: This is the match that restores the home "fortress" even if they can't prevail in game 3. Something to build on for next year and to give the fans HOPE! (And I will be there!)
If not for the brilliance from the GK the scoreline would have been 6/1 I guess. Hat's off to the GK
Brad Guzan has been remarkable. A joy to watch
This team should not be complaining about the games in so little days the playoffs are so watered down the 8 and 9 teams shouldn’t even be in the playoffs in the first place don’t complain be happy your even here
At Orlando on Saturday, Montreal on Tuesday, and Miami on Friday with very little time at home in between. Not to make excuses but team barely had time to rest and recover. We can be happy to see Atlanta United in the playoffs while at the same time highlighting what's been a strenous stretch for the team. They gave a terrific account of themselves despite the loss.
I would also credit to coach Rob Valentino.
Agreed
All 3 watching any other game you are lucky to conceded 2 goals only or else it will 5 -1
Would have likely been similar to the Galaxy vs. the Rapids last night!
As Miami fan we are scared of Atlanta because they are the only team we haven’t beat AND your feild can injure our players for the whole playoffs
Imagine crying and whining because the goat who is destroying your league and he’s famous. Shock the biggest footballer is getting the most move. Here’s the thing he’s backing up on the pitch as well. He’s the best player in the mls and the best ever player in the mls
I think you are missing the overall point here. The point is that MLS as a whole needs to do a better job marketing its product. This was a concern long before Messi got here and even with what MLS is doing to showcase him in Friday's match, games are still tough to watch for a casual fan. MLS Season Pass as a product is good (not perfect), but the league must ensure a more mainstream audience can consume its content. -Sydney
Don't wanna play on quick turnaround? Get out of the wildcard game. There shouldn't be a reward for barely making the playoffs.
Exactly. You want a buy do better. You don’t get advantages for failure
@@JB-nj2wrthat’s fair. However 3 days is silly for playoffs. The west gets 4 days.
Ya know, your analysis is spot-on. However, shall we consider that this squad is being lead by an interim coach. Two very dynamic DP's are transfered out as well as the best development player - leaving gaps in the 10, 9, and LFB/LW positions and on de vision day this team had less than 10% chance of advancing...yet, they close out defeating NYRB and Orlando to not only advance but then win a playoff game on the road against a team that had won 5 of 6 in their last matches to give the fans a playoff game at MBS. How about we show our support and appreciation for this incredible feat and leave the post-game nit-picking for another day.
Great quick-cast guys. Good to see fans enjoying five-stripe soccer again. Likely, short lived, but still good to see,,,
Let's hope it keeps rolling...
inter miami can outscore any team in mls.. that's how they win... if miami feels the way they felt against new england.. yeah good luck... 1st game itself they're gonna score like 6-7..
Don't know about that...Revs were shot with their season long since over and had nothing to play for. Atlanta need to not be intimidated - they have not lost to this team this year
@@scarvesandspikes they had their records stolen... they were playing to save it.. but hey it all depends on game 1 in miami...if miami goes off its over for atlanta else i think it'll be close
@@sathwik-2592 Hey Atlanta only had a ~10% chance to make the playoffs at all. That's why they play the games.
Is this what it feels like to play your way out of relegation in England?
🤷 maybe?
The number of games is a joke.. stop mls like the others leagues in the world when the national teams play and messi will have more games
The argument made for mvp by these guys is so ridiculous that it is beyond insanity... so if messi just plays 10 more matches and doesn't do anything he deserves the mvp.. like cmon now??
mattie doesn’t understand the away mentality. Sydney is correct, ya gotta play to advance. maybe not win but advance
The handball rule that caused this specific situation was outlined in 2020: "Attackers - who make contact with the ball and immediately score goal or create immediate goal-scoring opportunities - are penalized. Everywhere else on the field, the referee has to make a determination as to whether the player is guilty of an action which will be penalized, such as deliberately moving his hand to the ball or making himself unnaturally bigger to create a barrier for the ball. Contact between the ball and a defender’s arm in itself is not going to be automatically penalized in the way an attacker scores with the same type of contact.” Basically, if it had been handled by anyone but the immediate goal scorer it would have been up to the ref's interpretation. Because he immediately scored, it must be called a handball.
Precisely
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
When I played and reffed, it was simple if it hit your arm it was a handball, not even the below the shirt nonsense it is now
Still is (essentially) according to the laws of the game www.sportingnews.com/us/soccer/news/handball-football-rules-changes-fifa-uefa-hand-ball-soccer/tdnqkct6nzocrbfvscrxvtzl
Vamos ATL!🎉
🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴
FCC are locked into 3rd - unlikely to beat PHI in Chester. Both NYFC and CLT can improve their seed and odds are one of those teams wins. All ATL can do is win and see what happens. IF they win, I think there is a good chance for 9th and a date with PHI. Here's hoping!
Its will be messi 😂😂 cry both 4
You're forgetting Miami was short 4 CB's when they last played Atlanta. They will at least have some them back next time.
Is a valid goal?
Well we won, and Tor and Mon didn't get their results so we're in the playoffs?? Woo!
I'm sorry but the xG shows that the system isn't the problem, it's the utter lack of finishers (looking at you Rios) that is.
@@robacox You’re not entirely wrong
maybe one more takeaway (perhaps the most important) - Gonzalo Pineda was NOTthe problem.
Pineda has GG and Almada to work with and it was just as bad. Pineda was absolutely a problem. He drove out the club legend that punished us tonight too

We did have a higher XG than Philly though
But just the one goal 😔
