Hi, How Can I oil my Bernette B38 ??? I can't find any vidéo nor instruction. But my sewing machine star to make a weird noise and I'm sure it is about oil. Thank you for your help
Great explanations of laces and techniques.
Do these laces shrink? Do I need to prewash them?
Omg this video helped me so much! My new favorite instructor❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this video, and you have a way to explain things that makes it so easy. I know you say is only straight stich but when you are done can you back and forth stich to secure the gather? Sounds silly me asking for this or do i have to change it to foot number 1 to do that. Such beautiful southern accent, love it. I mean to ask when calculating panels for a ruffle skirt how do you go about it? what is the formula so that the gather matches the panels? I can be good at math but at the same time in certain things I am not so good. Do you have a video on that? Thank you
recommend using different color thread on the white fabric so we can see it
What a brilliant explanation. Thank you and well done.👍
Great video Gina and very informative - just one small note though - the surface of the wheel is not actually perforated - that would be if there were little holes all over the surface. The surface in this case is "knurled" which means it has been etched with lines at set angles to each other. The purpose of texturing the surface like this is to increase the surface friction of the wheel against your textile (gripping it) to facilitate the sewing process. A lot of industrial manufacturing machines that process textiles make use of this treatment for the same reasons.
Excellent video.
Thanks so much! Very helpful & wonderful instruction. 👏👏👏
hi can you tell me what base fabric your using is it a white cotton? and do you recommend to starch it before appliqueing?
Brilliantly explained and demonstrated
All the pieces look just stunning. Thank you for sharing!

When using a more complicated embroidery stitch, such as the last one you chose, how do you get the beginning and end to match up?
I guess i could look up number in the back of the book.
What number was the stitch please?
Excellent tutorial. Thank you!!
Wow! I learned so much!
This is one of the best videos I've watched with great explanations, illustrations, and clarifications. You are very thorough. Thanks for making the video, even 3 years later it still has value as if it is the day you've filmed it. 😃
Para que tipo de maquinas se adapta 5:02
Unfortunately it is almost impossible to see the registration lines on fabric, I wish they could be in black or in red.
Very beautiful L!
Thank you so much for this fantastic tutorial tfs Alison 😊
Very helpful!
Super helpful!!
Great tips! Thank you!
Such a great video!...just what I needed to know.
I learned so much, thank you very much
Good information but listening to all your mouth noises made it uncomfortable. Maybe the mic was too close to your mouth
Excellent tutorial! ❤
Super helpful, thank you! What machine are you using?
This was a great video and I really love this video and your voice is prefect.
Being a brand new quilter I have not ever done appliqué. This video helped so much. Thank you!
Well done, great explanations and filming of your techniques. Thanks.
I see that the foot looks like "old style" with the two prongs but your machine is a newer machine. So does that mean I could buy the old style for my 790? TIA
Thank you so much - I just got this foot to do thread painting - as a bonus now you have shown me how to do a monogram on my regular Bernina. I really appreciated your instructional manner as well.
This is the best sewing instructional video I have ever watched, and I have watched a lot! Thank you for such clear, direct, and right to the point instructions.
This looks interesting. How do you sign up for the gift box?
Hi, loved the video! Would it be alright if you can share the model of the machine you used for the video? Thank you so much!
You are a talented teacher. Thank you for taking the time to show this.
Thrilled! Made the first ruffle of my life. Thank you Kathy. Love your video tutorials. 😀😀
Wow. I learned so much. Especially the settings you used on your machine. I will use your tips moving forward. THANKS for sharing your knowledge
Oh! My goodness! I am binge watching your great videos! I am loving lace these days, i will be trying these techniques very soon! Thank you my new friend.
