If someone is struggling like me to use the internal mic on a pc through its line out and need to use it without SD Card: Just go to settings > Others and then select the Tuner Option, at this point the microfone will open and the line out is gonna work normally to use as a microphone.

Why doesnt any one ever talk about setting up the audio interface? It really sucks when reviews only cover some but not all the functionality. I already own the DR-07, and can setup the audio inter face mode- i was thinking to upgrade but no one is really showing the setup for the DR-40 or 40x
