The traditional festivals of the Uyghur nationality include Rozi Festival, Gurban Festival and Nowruz Festival. The first two festivals are of Islamic origin.

The Rouzi Festival is also called "Eid al-Fitr" because it is held after one month of fasting, which usually lasts 3 days.

Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid al-Adha, is held 70 days after the Rouzi Festival. If the family is well-off, a sheep must be slaughtered.

Nowruz is the oldest traditional festival of the Uyghur nationality. It falls on the spring equinox, which is equivalent to March 22 in the Gregorian calendar. On this day, various festivities and the traditional "Messirap" are held.

Uyghur residential compound. Country houses are mostly light yellow adobe houses, with deep front porches in the courtyards, and there are arabesque flowers or vines on the front porch. There are skylights in the house, and the walls inside the house are tall, and sunlight can pour in from the skylights.
