This is a fantasy block game, there is no real reason to add gender ideology into it. People forcing them into games well known for their community of children should develop a personality instead of acting like predators online. What's next? i havent played yet but i did look through the modlist and i want to personally thank you for not including better nether or better end or create (i fucking LOVE that mod but i am Sick of seeing it in every pack). also, about ftb questing im sure you've explored these options already but i'd suggest cooking progressing into the advancements system like sevtech, or as a last resort just having players download ftb questing separately since that isnt Too uncommon a practice (and I don't think people would mind the slight inconvenience). also probably personal preference but my only nitpick is the graves having expiration dates cause they always stress the people i play with the fuck outtttt (and me to a lesser extent) i'll probably give more detailed feedback once i play it proper, but for now this is what i can gleam from the video & modlist also thanks for making this!! & congrats for getting to 1.0!!!

Whoa, this is awesome! I been playing a lot of modpacks, but I don't believe I seen any of the mods that have been shown in the video, aside from Infinity Caves, but even then I seen that mod only once, thank you for the modpack, I will definitely give it a try at some point! :)

The one thing that I think is going to be VERY difficult to capture, if you ask me anyway, is the atmosphere of twisted whimsy and sense of corrupted childlike wonder that B3313 had. It had a sense of false nostalgia for a game that looks very similar to the one you played when you were younger, but it's in a primitive and unfinished state thanks to all the beta assets used. When people ask me what B3313 is, or what it's about, I used to have a hard time putting it into words, and even when I did, it didn't really sound right, but I think I finally have a way to do it justice. Take someone who is 5-8 years old growing up in the mid-1990s. They love video games, but more importantly, they love Mario. One day, they happen their wonderous little eyes on a hazy CRT late a night, and this commercial for a brand new Mario game-the beta version specifically-on his brand new console in this jawdropping 3D world comes on the screen. Their eyes grow wide with excitement and anticipation! They just can't wait to play it, and this moment in their life is just cemented in the recesses of their memory. The game releases, and they play through it all in about a few months. When they go to the playground, all their friends are throwing around all the wildest things they've been doing. A Bob-omb village, an underground Koopa town, a yellow cap switch, and the most talked about rumor: unlocking Luigi. They spend countless hours after beating the game with 100% to see if this is truly the end or if there is more out there, but they find nothing except make more memories of their own. This is the first and only time they ever played SM64. Now, fast-forward this same individual 40 years into the future. They've not thought about Mario or anything video game related for 40 years and ask them about a little jumpy guy game from the 90s and ask them if they remember anything about it. You then ask them to recreate what they remember, the whole game, from memory alone. The result... is B3313. An amalgamation of playground rumors, memories of watching an/or playing the beta at a convention, and then experiencing the game for themselves. Of course, you throw in things that the interent community has created over the years, and you just round out the experience; and that's the important bit. For something like this, it's not the game part of the hack that's important. It's the experience. With that being said, if they can somehow find a way to evoke the same feelings that B3313 did, then I am all for it, and I wish them the best of luck because they have a tall order to fill in my eyes. But hey, I'm just some random schmoe sitting in front of his laptop typing about a romhack they feel strongly about at 5 in the morning, so who am I to say that what I think about it is how it should be. Apologies for the wall of text, but if you made it this far, thanks for reading~! ♡
