i take one gel cap of cod liver oil every day! i had dry skin all over and now its silky soft! i can even see a shine on my skin and at first i wondered what it was because i didnt use any cream! so if you have dry skin it will cure it!

Stop taking a weak product like cod liver oil. Instead go for something 8X as powerful - with NO smell!!!!! Halibut liver oil is far better and far cheaper.

Why did you bite down on the gel cap? It's a gel cap so you can just swallow it and it opens in the GI tract.

My mum is almost 96 , and she eats cod liver every day. One tin , 120 grams , 4 oz. , lasts her 3 days. The brand is “ Officer “ , Smoked Cod Liver , from fresh ,wild cod. Here in Australia it is $ 5. I eat it too . On the first day it’s delicious, afterwards,I eat it with drinking a little milk to kill the taste …mum is still mentally ok , she walks short distances…blame it on years of cod liver.

keep it in the fridge and buy it in small quantities. Gel caps really get stuck in my throat, repeat, and make me feel bloated.

Why not just swallow the gel caps like I do and avoid any taste altogether? They're gel caps, they dissolve easily in the stomach.
