Did they really? A friend of mine who was in Poneke said the team decided to go in 2025 and continue missing 1 Maeva Nui in between so miss 2027 and back again in 2029 and so forth. My friend said they decided this considering the finance side of things from prepping rakei to transporting the whole team up to Auckland. Idk I could be wrong and my friend is talking a whole lotta kaka but I hope they do compete next year, they were awesome to watch, them and Tongareva were my favourite in 2021😜
