Early NIN, thank you, love it, good music is always much appreciated, Eric Watson
really like this videoooo, so meticulous :)
Back in the day when being in a room together meant it was literally only the people in that room: no connection to the outer world save for a landline telephone and potentially email.
🤧🤧🤧😭😭
12 again- every day is the same
The fragile is one of the greatest records off all time, imho.
Who’s here in 2026?
It's so interesting to see the way music is created and watch a bunch of guys doing something they clearly love.
The guitar right after the theremin is so fucking awesome here and live. Better than the album.
Who first heard and remember this song as the 300 movie song
I literally discovered this song while leaving for work 2am in the morning. My young kids play lullaby music on the Amazon dot, while checking on the kids before leaving, I heard this song playing from the dot on a lullaby playlist, heard it play a few more times... now it's imprinted in my mind associated with my young kids sleeping.
17 years back... wou
whos here in 2024 ?
well, we all are I suppose.
we‘re in this together
I am here every morning
me
so aperentlly i'm the last one. Hi! I come from the future where everything is digitalised and still we create shit music. ( noo I did not meant to erite sheet music) yet still we do not create GEMS like these. Not anymore...No one has time...and the ones that do have time have no talent( or no calling cause talent is just working through what you already like) ...and those that do still have it- don't have time because they have to be instagram influencers at the same time ( what? what is INSTAGRAM? oh! You'll get a kick out of this) and produce and have REAL Job cause guess what? this does not pay shit. There are no more natural means, no support, no ..hope that this can ever be created. Just a small spark that sometimes reminds you and brings you here in this moment...this comment...when music was created through your nervous system sending impulses through your nerves to your muscles. When it was all in our hands. Pure, fragile, agile, whitty. Did we just let it all burn or was it taken from us? Where are we? Where am I? Where are you? who are you? Where am I?
<3
Trent is a musical genius..
One of the rare songs in 10/4. Absolutely mesmerizing.
The skills of a meticulous surgeon.
This is one of my favorite Nine Inch Nails songs and there's something about this performance that keeps me coming back every so often to listen again.
The 'imperfection' of this makes the music even more visceral. This crude version gave the creeps, it's amazing!
god trent is so helpful to his bandmates
This isn’t a song it’s an experience.
such an amazing song. every part. the vocal climb might be my favorite. just wow
ua-cam.com/video/hc_vI2aC08E/v-deo.html For anyone interested in a glowing breakdown of how interesting this song is in terms of composition.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I remember downloading this off the NIN website as a .mov file
Thats where I got it too 😅
NIN!!
Best band ever period
Wish this video was remastered.
There's something hot AF about this 😍
Just Like You Imagined. NIN. The Fragile. 1999.
Kids these days just do not have this musical talent and genius. Instead they get some fat talantless bitch singing about her wet fanny.
I use this song as an introduction every time I go on stage, to this day. Started in high school, running for class president: I had the lights lowered, then Just like You Imagined came on, low at first, volume slowly increased. then the blue gels and spotlights start searching... then a fog-machine that I didn't have permission to use would get to full blast, and as the song ramps up the first crescendo, the curtain rises, and just when the song drops down into that heavy first drop, I have have my staff carry me out on a raised, throne-like palanquin, while strobe lights go nuts, and the red gels come on, and false pyrotechnics go off, and I wave to the crowd as I am lowered to the ground in front of the podium... as the song continues in its intensity, I take off my cape, and I make thankful & triumphant gestures to the crowd, until the chaotic piano part comes in... that's when the crazy effects are lowered... the volume fades... that's when the regular stage lights return, and I begin my speech-- a rousing speech of passion and war! At the end of the speech the spectacle was repeated in reverse and abbreviated. Of course, I won the Junior Class High School Class-Presidency. ...which i subsequently declined when i discovered what the position entailed... bor-ing... And that was my story. Now, my only ambition in life is to write a song just half as good.
I wish they had the full rehearsal avaliable somewhere.
I think this is the old Nothing Studios. Just a few blocks from me right now
“Not quite my tempo”
Qué hermosura
I last saw this video when I was 16 (about the same time this video was uploaded). I'm 31 now. I'm reminiscing the days where I could just listen to NIN and Tool (and related bands) and learn to play their songs.
THIS. IS. SPARTA!!!
Give them nothing! But take from them... *EVERYTHING!!!*
So sick
The Fragile is a literal peak achievement
It’s my favorite NIN album by a long shot
*This is totally a 300 song!*
Most great songs have one musical element that's absolutely perfect, that you couldn't imagine a better version of... Trent achieves this for 4 instruments here at once. The bassline, drumming, guitar parts and piano parts are all individually astounding brilliant examples of how to elevate each instrument, having all of those in the same song is spoiling us.
It’s awesome to see how it all came together
Bom...
When rock bands go Beethoven, love it
All alone here in 2021... send help
The field general calling the shots. A rare glimpse into the world of NIN.
BADASS!!
Freakin deadly... one of my favourite vids on UA-cam
Is that Grohl on drums or Dillon?
