We are late to the cruise life, our first cruise was in 2023 on the Wish for 4 days, followed by the Magic for 5 days in February of 2024. I totally agree with you, start with at least 4 to 5 days to be able to get the lay of the land. With that being said, I think I actually liked the Magic over the Wish by a slim margin. The Magic is missing some amenities as compared to the Wish but it is an awesome ship and I liked it being a bit smaller than newer cruise ships.

Garden dining on fantasy/dream boring. Arendelle dining on Wish is too concentrated and crowded. Coco dining will probably be the same on Treasure Tiana on Wonder & Rapunzel on magic are perfect

The wish does have a cruise going to lighthouse point in January.

My Predictions: Hercules will be the bronze statue at the Grand Hall which will be Greco-Roman themed to honor Disney's greatest heroes. There's a stage inspired by an amphitheatre for meet and greets, as well as a ceiling of constellations of various Disney heroes that sparkle to music. For the third restaurant, probably Lion King-themed? Activities stage should definitely be Underworld themed to Hades. Probably a Cruella-themed bar, a Pirates of the Caribbean pub, and a Haunted Mansion tower suite. Worlds of Marvel would probably have a Wakanda makeover... That's just some of my predictions so far.

I hope that Treasure Planet will get some representation on this ship. But I doubt that'll ever happen for obvious and biased reasons.

the fantasy is a much better ship than the Wish. We did the Wish last November, and to be honest, it wasn't what I hoped for. We didn't like the layout of the ship, or did we like the lack of a real adult area.

most people agree that verandah is nice, but save it for a longer cruise where you will have more time to enjoy it. We have our 3rd Disney cruise in a few days on the Fantasy (did the Magic and Wonder before), and it'll be our first 7-day and we finally have a verandah. very excited
