Wow, I didn't even check the view count or subs this is absolute gold! I didn't realize you're still early in your UA-cam journey and already delivering so much quality and knowledge. Wishing you the best on your path to inspiring others!
when you have your own business visa free zone for 2 years why you need visa from others?
Keep going mate. I am looking to move Dubai for real estate work this year. What happen if you purchase house while working or before you start working? Will that help if you quite the work ? Warm regards
which website u used to compare school fees? thank you
Amazing video
I moved out of Dubai 1991 ... 😂 was Water Polo Pro El Nasr Club.
I wish you all the best in your new life in Dubai mate, stuff the haters, make it happen. Had some great holidays in the Sofitel right next door to that Atlantis place you showed at the beginning.
great video, would you kindly share your music soundtracks and camera equipements ? thanks
This one was shot with a DJI Picket Osmo 3. All the music is from Epidemic Sound.
As soon as i seen this video was about chines cars I switched off, MG isn't as bad because it started as a British company so they still go by regulations but 100% chines cars I'm trying to stay well away from for safety reasons.
@@pottacoola you switched off but still commented. Well done
how much is your rent each month
Great Video.. I am from India and am planning to move there next month with my family. Your videos are super helpful. Thanks a lot and keep em coming..
its not your skin color per say, its the fact that black culture is absolute trash.
Thanks for the video man, such a lovely accent. Useful content as well. Wish you all the best out there!
Thanks, you too!
Breakdown and average cost of living per month..pls

2 years
@ thanks for the quick reply moving soon paid 8k 2 year e com ftz good advice on screening at home health check will do that now haha didn’t think of it
@@salvageselect6233 You're welcome
Vital information.
Thanks for watching and I'm glad it was useful
Nobody is treated fairly. No mader your skin color. When you arrive into a mew country you need to work double harder then local.
This is a useful video thank you. Please can you do a video on where to go food shops etc to save money
Someone has asked the same question. I’ll make a video on this.
@MyDXBDiaries thanks. Love your videos. Keep up the good work. Would love to see any updated on your investment portfolios. Thanks
@ That would be on the main channel. I generally don't do them because it can seem as though markets always go up with isn't a true reflection of the reality when investing. I'll see what I can do.
@@MyDXBDiaries thanking you
Amazing content. Everyone making content about Dubai need to take notes from this brother. He covers everything from all angles. I can't wait to meet you when I relocate with my family. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks for watching and look forward to meeting you too
Another great video, I learned a lot. So as someone who is a bit shocked by the cost of food, which supermarket do you think is best value now you have been here for a while?
There’s quite a bit that goes into those. Most communities will have shops on your door step. I will do a video on this. I might rope my mrs in for this one
Find a LuLu supermarket for your weekly food shops......u'll save a ton!
The prices in Lulu compared to some something too dissimilar we’ve found.
Really helpful. Just moved from UK to Dubai (AR3) 2 days ago. Currently in a 1-month hire car so this was perfect timing. Subscribed too #499 👍🏻
Welcome. What’s your long term plan for transportation?
@@MyDXBDiaries Literally no idea yet, which is why your video was so helpful :)
Thanks for the consistent info, can't wait till move in June! Useful info
My pleasure
Super helpful review! Was literally talking about car buying last night and the approach to take when moving. Thought about getting a driver coz apparently that’s a viable and cheap option. And yes you did earn a subscriber
Glad it was helpful and welcome.
Love the shirt! Great to see your new channel and sharing he journey with us. Wishing you success
Thanks Jamie
I have just found your channel, I believe you do you, you do what you believe is best for you. I truly believe you will fit in.
Welcome
The UK has fallen so, it's a no-brainer to move to Dubai. Best wishes 🖤
100%
Allways makes me laugh people uprooting themselves away from their own country and family just because they don’t want to pay tax and then eventually find out what happens in tax free societies you get your trousers pulled down on everything whether that’s healthcare or schools (your looking at 10k gbp per child and that’s minimum) and the worst part is you’ll never be a citizen of UAE so you are a citizen of no where
That might be because may have never lived in different country before. This will be the 4th country I’ve moved to. That idea that you wouldn’t do this, isn’t reflective of myself, my partner and hundreds of thousands of people worldwide are moving here for a better lifestyle, better infrastructure, better business opportunities, better climate, a much safer environment to raise a family with virtually zero crime and on top of that no personal tax. The average cost raising a child in the UK per year is just over £14k for a couple and over 16k for single parent. The idea of staying in a place that has an ever decreasing standard of living, an ever increasing tax burden and cost of living, just because you’re a citizen is crazy to me in 2025. But each to their own.
Was wondering where these vlogs where - hello new channel! Congrats.
Welcome
Lived in RAK for 4 years. Quietier, more traditional and sense of local culture, great for families. Id go back in a second or even abu dabi
Omg you have sickle anaemia. I have the trait! I don't have any desire to move to Dubai but enjoy your new life there! I'm weird. I'm of african descent but I love the UK weather and the homes are so cosy. Guilt free duvet days 😁
Love your videos. I'm in the UK but actively looking for work in Dubai within the IT sector. We may cross paths at some point ! Keep up the good work !
Thank you mate. I have a friend who recruits in the IT sector. here. Join the Telegram, if it's good fit I might be able to do am intro
@MyDXBDiaries Much appreciated. I've just joined. Let's see what we can make happen.
@@MyDXBDiaries I joined last night. Any chance we could have a conversation related to your friend that's recruiting in the Tech sector? Thank you.
@@abundancemindset777 Sure mate. I'll message you in group
You really thought Dubai would be a worse experience of racism than the UK and Spain? That probably is the result of anti muslim and anti arab propaganda that is prevalent in the west.
That's probably true. I must admit the first time I came here on holiday 10 years ago changed my views and perspectives
whats your first chanel name?
conversation of money. It's a finance channel
We pay £12k GBP equivalent for a family of 3 with no previous issues and i was surprised with yours coming out at 8.8k tbh. Wait until you add schools fees into the mix 🤢🤢 I tell everyone to be financially secure here you need to earn minimum 100k GBP and a family of 3-4 then 20k a month gbp.... that includes savings, return trips back home, emergency fund and actually living here and going out to eat once a week. FYI im self funded with my own business and not employed so i have no packages like you do as say a teacher for example. Good luck!
Thanks Steven. I'm surprised your's is expensive, albeit for the family. I saw base quotes starting from 4400dhs with the likes of Sukoon. What do you do here business wise?
@@MyDXBDiaries Im a self taught Gold trader, purely online only not physical gold. ( Not a Forex Scammer) 🤣🤣Started learning about 10 years ago after 10 years in the Royal Marines. Trade prop firms and my own money. Can work from home anywhere pretty much, hence the move to Dubai. Some people in the comments get funny about tax but to people i know i showed them by annual tax which was around £164k and now my annual living expenses here are covered by that tax saving alone... i can now put that extra to work for a future for my family and even family back at home. It's a no brainer! Quality of life, weather , safety and better education and health care albeit at a cost granted. In the UK once over a certain level your tax increase exponentially over £120k so it becomes way more efficient to be here in Dubai. For people earning £30-60k say you would struggle here especially with a family unless employed with a package.
Good content bro and best of luck. To all the others looking to move here let me provide some additional tips as someone from London (lived in LND for 20+ years) who has lived on and off in Dubai for more than 15yrs. The whole weather/sun thing is nonsense for 6 months of the year - summers here are extremely unbearable along with the humidity. Apart from Kite Beach and JBR, it's not a walking or biking city like Europe. Employment law here is not like the UK with very little protection and rights for employees. Schooling fees + medical insurance negates a lot the "tax advantages" gained. Grocery and food shopping is quite expensive. Happy to provide more advice if needed. Dubai has advantages and disadvantages. It's a real grind and struggle for those working in lower category jobs. Salaries below manager levels are also very very low.
Thank you bro and thank you for the additional input as well
To help people with Sickle cell, is the reason I started giving blood a few years ago
I just finished watching all your Dubai videos. The information and content you provide is really helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching.
The bottom line is you moved to Dubai to avoid paying taxes. Due diligence is brilliant. How you didn't do due diligence on your medical expenses, is beyond me 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ Bringing Race into your video is a scrapping the barrel . My nephew as lived in Dubai for 5 years now as a Black guy and never had a problem. He is earning some day up to £4000 a day and the main reason he is in Dubai is for tax reasons.. Its a hoilday for you and i cant see it being long term ! Your business will suffer, which will be a shame. You have put in so much effort and not really got the returns, results and subscriptions as you thought 50K , is very poor considering how much effort and time you have been doing UA-cam. Hope you find happiness one day , i can tell deep down your not happy with life . Good luck on your New adventure 👍👍👍🤔
I'm glad you don't rule the world!
Oh dear @lawrence. Who spat in your coffee? I hope you feel better after that little outburst. Bless your cotton socks A lot of assumptions in your comment which tells me you're a bit an asshole in real life. Either way, please don't you worry about me or my business. I'm pretty confident I'm going to be more than fine. Worry about whatever it is that made you type such a pathetic comment. Sounds like you're either jealous, bored or you're projecting. Regardless, politely F@*k OFF and take your shit elsewhere.
Well said!!!@@MyDXBDiaries
