Welcome to "Here For The Drinks"! In this video, we're going to show you how to make a homemade eggnog recipe that's perfect for Easter or Christmas. With just a few easy steps, you'll be able to create a delicious liqueur with natural flavors and aromas that will impress your friends and family.
Eggnog has a rich history and is a beloved holiday tradition in many countries. Made with eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and spices, eggnog is a creamy and indulgent treat that's perfect for sipping by the fireplace or serving at holiday gatherings. While store-bought eggnog is readily available, making your own homemade version allows you to customize the flavors and create a truly special drink.
Here is what you are going to need:
8 eggs (yolks only)
200g or 1 cup of powdered sugar
400ml or 1 1/2 cups of condensed milk (or you can use 1 1/4 cup of normal milk with some extra 1/4 cup of sugar)
250ml or 1 cup and a bit more of your favourite rum but you can use vodka or whiskey instead. We used Don Papa Rum.
